sunsleader I totally understand that card's power, but it does not really fit into the aggro plan I have rolling. Then if I'm playing that guy, may as well be running Deathmist Raptor. and Mastery of the Unseen. Just changes this deck's fundamental principle. I am thinking on it post rotation though. Thanks for the idea and comment though!

Hey, good games earlier. Would definitely like to play a bit more sometime.

Bile blight is something to consider for those morph/manifest decks. It can erase those raptors at instant speed in combat situations where it really matters while also doubling as removal against mystics, den protectors, single morphs....

Ohnoeszz, for sure. I'll look for you when I'm at untap.

I actually had not considered Bile Blight till now. I can totally see it's potential. I'm heading down to my local shop for FNM this Friday, and if I can find some, I'll grab 'em and test 'em.

Thanks for the idea!

I would taken out your 4 haven lands (Blossoming Sands etc.) and add in 4x Mana Confluence. Lands that come into play tapped can be quite annoying as they slow down your curve in your aggro build and mana confluence also fixed slightly better. Otherwise I like the idea of Herald of Torment I have surprisingly never seen it in abazn aggro and it looks like it can certainly put in work against control.

NigelOBody I only have 8 comes into play tapped lands, and I can almost always play them around my curve. For example:

Turn 1: Land, Warden of the First Tree

Turn 2: Tapped land

Turn 3: Land Anafenza, the Foremost

Also, I'm already paying life for the pain lands, and more life loss for mana fixing sounds more detrimental than helpful. Thanks for the idea though, if I start having mana issues, that is what I'll try

Herald is faster. This is abzan aggro.

That is exatly why micah1, putting it on a Siege Rhino or anafenza is 7 flying damage out of no where. It has won me a lot of games

same ESTABAUSS Herald of Torment is amazing, I am going to be sad to see it go. I still think you need to work on that side board though.

Rayne0455, I actually really like the board right now for most decks I face. Have not had many run ins with control though, and that might be the worst prepared matchup. But, what would you do to improve this sideboard? I'm always open to suggestions

Well I think Dragonlord Dromoka is an amazing card for mirror matches as well as control. Helps you go over, can't be countered and has lifelink. Also a Crux of Fate is good against Dragon decks (R/G or Esper), which always gives me the most trouble, sparing your creatures while destroying theirs. Plus a field whip is always good to have in the side board. A Hornet Nest or two can always come in handy too.

@Rayne0455 Hmm, I really like Dragonlord Dromoka in place of Arbor Colossus. It does the same things better, and more. And I guess Crux of Fate could replace an Abzan Charm for the dragons match up. I tried Hornet Nest and found a removal spell is almost always better. The whip is cool with rhino recursion, but the lifelink is done better by Sorin, Solemn Visitor. Thanks for the tips. Do you approve?
