Sideboard

After months of extensive play-testing, I feel that I am confident enough with it to share it, so here is my version of Titan Post. I played the blue/green version of it for a while and realized it just wasn't for me. Don't get me wrong because I do love playing blue and having access to an early Brainstorm or even a Force of Will when I need it, I just felt that I couldn't do what I wanted early with the mana restrictions. In testing, I usually did not have the green for a Crop Rotation turn 1 or the blue for a Brainstorm and it was kind of frustrating. So, to fix this I added more fetch lands and it really dulled down on the selection of lands I could play due to deck size. This diluted the full potential of the deck so I just stuck with mono-green. Enough of back story, now the deck. Our land base is similar to a normal Titan Post build with 4 Cloudpost, 4 Glimmerpost , and just 3 Vesuva, 4 Snow-Covered Forest, a Savannah, 3 Windswept Heath as the main mana-producers. 6 "fun-of" lands; Dark Depths and Thespian's Stage to make a 20/20, a Karakas to deal with the big guys like any Eldrazi, Iona, Shield of Emeria, Griselbrand etc.,Cavern of Souls to protect our Primeval Titan from blue magic, Eye of Ugin to get our own Eldrazi and a Hall of the Bandit Lord to get 2 Titan triggers or to just attack immediately with a hardcasted Emrakul. We are running the full package of tutors that usually come standard in any Cloudpost deck. 4 Crop Rotation and 4 Green Sun's Zenith. Crop Rotation can search up any land we need in a pinch, especially awesome in response to a Wasteland activation, Green Sun's Zenith can grab us a turn 1 Dryad Arbor for mana ramping and later on is the most potent creature tutor that legacy green decks have access to. There's 2 Expedition Map in here so we can get our fun lands. We got Into the North to get us a Snow-Covered Forest or the Dark Depths, and the most unique tutor piece of the deck is Living Wish , this card is awesome because it makes almost our whole sideboard live and can provide answers to almost anything you might come across in legacy, but we'll talk about that in a sec. 2 Moment's Peace to hold off any really aggressive creature strategies, like Combo Elves, Merfolk, Goblins or even Dredge, so you can stabilize and get to where you need to be as far as board position. 2 Pithing Needle usually naming Wasteland, but it has other obvious potential targets like Jace, Lily or Deathrite, usually Wasteland game 1 if I don't know what my opponent is on. 3 Sensei's Divining Top because it sets up our draws and we can just fetch and get a new look if we don't like what we see. A Candelabra of Tawnos for absurd amounts of mana, Crucible of Worlds as a 1 of to deal with land hate, some would say that a 3rd Pithing Needle would be better, but I found Crucible to be more ideal, especially with Exploration dropping 2 lands from my hand OR graveyard is fun :) . Ugin, the Spirit Dragon to blow up little annoying shitheads like Delver, we can waste a Marit Lage token or a bunch of Angel tokens against Miracles for no loyalty, he's the bomb. Emrakul and Ulamog are our closers, Scavenging Ooze against graveyard strategies, Goyf, Mongoose, Deathrite, Reclamation Sage against Blood Moon, Ensnaring Bridge or whatever else, Oracle of Mul Daya to get lands into play faster and 3 Primeval Titan, 1 in the sideboard as a Living Wish target. Living Wish is an under-played card and I'm amazed that I haven't seen it used in this build before, so I'm doing it. We can get answers from it even when we feel it's hopeless. A Phyrexian Revoker to deal with Liliana? An Ethersworn Canonist to deal with Storm or High Tide? Glacial Chasm for Burn? I just wanted to try something new and unique and this deck is crazy fun and highly competitive. My best matchup is Miracles, my worst? I'm not quite sure, probably Tin Fins...But one thing that is cool about this deck is that you get to hardcast Eldrazi. Who doesn't love doing that? Thank you for reading and please upvote if you like the deck!
