Looks really good. I've always loved grixis control. I'm not sure about Silumgar's Scorn though unless you ran at least a couple dragons. A lot of in control decks run silumgar so that might be something to consider, especially when running Silumgar's Scorn. Also, Deathbringer Regent and Icefall Regent could be good here. Really its whatever works best for you. I like the idea and the deck though. Good job!

Thanks. And the scorns are there for early mana spikes. I haven't finalized a sideboard but I will have both silumgar versions.

Another thing to think about for your mana base is running maybe a few less temples and taking out Shivan Reef, and putting in more fetch lands to thin out your deck and help your odds of drawing cards you need. I know Scalding Tarn isn't standard so you might do more Bloodstained Mires instead of Temple of Deceit.

I would definitely put Icefall Regent and either version of silumgar maindeck to get full use out of your Silumgar's Scorn while also adding win cons. I would also add Foul-Tongue Invocation either main or side for aggro matchups. The life gain off of them is crucial.

One of the best spells for Grixis control is Foul-Tongue Invocation. It makes up for missing a Dissolve when somebody plays a Thunderbreak Regent and gains life against mono . I don't think Thunderbreak is very good for Grixis control however Silumgar, the Drifting Death as a 2 of is great with the invocation. You could even keep 2 of him in the side and then side in him and the 3 foul tongues, although after you do it a few times you'll likely end up putting those 5 cards in the main.

Icefall is good as well but with Icefall I find that Silumgar's Scorn is necessary. All in all Ice fall is a good creature like Xenagos, God of Revels is for G/R but not as necessary.

Also if you want something that dodges removal like a boss consider Haunted Plate Mail. The one round I sided it in during game day it got in for 16 damage leaving the guy at 2 life. I play Esper control, but imagine getting somebody to just 2 life. They'd die from either Mogis, God of Slaughter, Keranos, God of Storms or Mindswipe. Also, you don't have creatures which is exactly why it's awesome, and if you do end up with your Silumgar and the Plate Mail on board that's a 7 damage Silumgar, which is awesome.

Kolaghan's Command is great tempo when on the play vs another control deck just for the discard and burn.

Also against a mid-range deck Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver is still plenty good these days.

I would agree with not running Silumgar's Scorn without any dragons in the deck (and I don't know if I would change the no dragons aspect of the deck). That being said I might be inclined to run Neutralizing Blast and or Negate in lieu of the scorns. Or even take more advantage of the fact you are running red and put in either Lightning Strike's or Stoke the Flames, because it seems to me like you are trying to burn your opponents out with abilities so damage spells will give you the extra reach to acheive your win.

You add a good point, as of now I will remove the dragon spells in lieu of like swaps. I think I will keep it like this as main, then after side have it become a dragon control

I second discard. If creature decks are big in your meta, Encase in Ice is also a great option to side.

Mogis isn't ever supposed to be a creature here though. You use him to contain the board presence and slowly bleed the opponent out. Similar to Palace Siege. Although, I might like palace siege alot in a grixis control deck.

Take out Mogis, add another Ugin. You have 3 win cons and Ugin is your strongest, and if he dies you're most likely screwed. I recommend 4 Thoughtseize, as you have little ways to deal with Esper Dragons. I also think 2 Murderous Cut and 3 Digs are too stressful on delve fodder. Another thing I would add in is 1-of Haven of the Spirit Dragon to return Ugin and hard press the opponents removal/counters. Another card that the pros don't like is actually Anticipate, I'd just cut it. Otherwise looks fun! Sideboard recommendations would be that your deck seems weaker to other control archetypes, so I think you may want to consider adding in 4x Goblin Rabblemaster to the Side just to put them on their toes and simply out aggro them vs control them.
