Maybeboard

I would love to say the name was original, but I think everyone has named their deck this.

The primary win condition is the necrotic ooze combo which is gotten through a dakmore salvage infinite deck cycle with card:the gittrog monster.

Basically the objective is to get Dakmor Salvage into your hand with a discard outlet Lotleth Troll or Skirge Familiar. Then you discard the Dakmor Salvage and rather than draw off the toad you dredge it back. You'll keep this up until the following are in your graveyard:

Necrotic Ooze

Dread Return

Spider Spawning

Devoted Druid

Quillspike

Thornling

Spider Spawning

Kamahl, Fist of Krosa

Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord

Birds of Paradise or Deathcap Cultivator.

Creeping Renaissance

From here I'll refer to the card who's ability you want to activate on your ooze:

Flashback Spider SpawningFlashback Dread Return reanimating Necrotic Ooze.

(from here even though all these effects are Necrotic Ooze I will be referring to the card the ability come from)

Use Thornling to give the ooze haste. Tap the ooze and activate the Birds of Paradise or Deathcap Cultivator for a black mana. Use card:devoted druid to untap then use Quillspike to remove the -1/-1. Now you can keep putting -1/-1 counters on it (keeping in mind the Quillspike activation keeps your ooze alive through the -1/-1 counters) and generate infinite mana. From here use Kamahl, Fist of Krosa ability a bunch of times to pump your spiders you have left (or animate lands and then pump if need be). From here use Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord to kill all the opponents by sacrificing a huge creature to their faces.

I'm not positive on this, but I was told you can hold priority and not let anyone respond until it's too late. Plus you don't target so you get around hexproof.

Now if say Dread Return gets countered we're not done yet we will be unable to combo off, but we can still go on. From here flashback Creeping Renaissance and return all creatures. Then cast Loaming Shaman and return everything you want. This way you keep on kicking. If you're lucky you can try to get your hands on ooze and repeat the process only casting the ooze from your hand.

Our best way to pull off the combo is Insidious Dreams. On our opponents endstep cast dreams discard two cards and get Dakmor Salvage and Lotleth Troll and kill next turn if you feel like you want to be safe you could even get Skirge Familiar as well.

One major weakness of this deck is killing the combo makes it harder to win, at this point we are a stax deck relying on play lands and depriving everyone of a hand due to our discard effects while we keep our hand topped off by sacrificing our lands. It's a scary existence, but such is the life of a hypnotoad follower.

Another weakness is you don't want to ramp into toad too fast unless you are ready to start sacing lands it's too easy to starve yourself out early game if you ramp in with a sol ring and/or mana dorks.
