Sorcery (1)

A control deck relying on superfriends to grind out a victory. Nissa, Gideon, Chandra, and newcomer Arlin Kord work together to generate token creatures, buff tokens, or act as lots of utility so the deck can adapt to many situations.

Win cons: Tokens generated by planeswalkers, or Secure the Wastes. If tokens don't work, some help from creatures might.

Creatures: Pia and Kiran Nalaar and Sin Prodder. Sin Prodder is a solid creature on its own, with 3 power and menace. However the ability to draw extra cards, or burn the opponent seems strong. PKN gives more tokens to block/swing with, or just burn the opponent directly.

Removal: Fiery Impulse, Silkwrap, Stasis Snare, Lightning Axe, Swift Reckoning. I chose Fiery Impulse and Swift Reckoning because Spell Mastery should be easy to achieve. I included Lightning Axe as a one of because it can help enable Spell Mastery, while also killing a creature. Most of my removal is to fight against aggro decks, but Stasis Snare and Swift Reckoning should be able to deal with most bigger threats.

Support: Oath of Nissa, Oath of Gideon, Second Harvest, Atarka's Command. Since the primary plan is to go wide with creatures, Atarka's Command can give me a lot of versatility with the +1/+1 and reach on the offense or defense, and a solid burn for 3. The Oaths help the planeswalkers, especially Gideon's giving me more tokens, and keeping Gideon himself alive after using his -4. And then Second Harvest, reaping in the benefits of instant speed double tokens. :D

Sideboard: Still needs work. Rending Volley just says no to Thing in the Ice  . Against Eldrazi, I would side in Roast and and extra Stasis Snare. And against aggro, I would side in more Fiery Impulse and Dromoka's Command.

Updates Add

Record: 2-3

Round 1: Bant Coco. Round 2: R/G Ramp. Round 3: Bant Coco. Round 4: G/W Little Ramp. Round 5: Season's End Control

After finishing the PPTQ, I feel like I need to add more creatures. I am taking out some removal to add 3x Sylvan Advocate and hoping that those will help in creature based match ups, as well as apply pressure on the control match ups.

Things thinking about adding: Westvale Abbey  Flip, Tireless Tracker
