The mask and steel gives me invasions(fear and unblockable). I agree on the helm, its pointless. I forgot about me adding Future Sight so ill take it out for that. But i kind of like the leyline...

You could run Darkest Hour alongside Shifting Sky for more consistency. You might also think about Circle of Protection if you get Shifting Sky out often enough.

Also Alchor's Tomb will permanently change his color so you can bounce worry free.

Mystic Crusader , and Blood Baron of Vizkopa would work well here.

Those are good cards. I do try to stay away from boring face beaters but you should run at least one in the deck.

Painter's Servant could do some serious damage in this deck
July 20, 2014 1:35 p.m.
Painter's Servant is banned, unfortunately; too many borked combos. How do you feel about Tsabo's Assassin ? It only works if you've set up Shifting Sky or Darkest Hour , but it's neat. Also Karmic Guide for recursion.

i do like the assassin.ashen rider and animate dead seem to be on the chopping block. Just don't seem do be doing well

Maybe you could run Azorius AEthermage and/or Warped Devotion as just fun effects.
March 15, 2015 1:57 a.m.
I like them both. If Warped Devotion was for opponents then I would like it even more.Thank you for the suggestions.

You can use Eight-and-a-Half-Tails to make things white, and it also protects your things. I also enjoy using Wash Out in my color-change deck, but it requires some set-up to not bounce your own things.
May 1, 2015 2:46 a.m.
Ruffigan I've thought about Eight-and-a-Half-Tails, I just could never get one in a trade. I shall double my efforts. Wash Out is a super version of dromar's ability. I know I have one the problem is where I put it.

I'm not convinced about the returning all creatures bit since it hits you as well. How well does the deck work?
May 7, 2015 12:37 a.m.
It works good. I'm not too worried about bouncing my stuff(a lot of them have etbs). If need be I can save at least my general from being bounced. With cards like Alchor's Tomb, Distorting Lens, Blind Seer,Sway of Illusion and hopefully Eight-and-a-Half-Tails soon. Another thing is a lot of times when I cast Dromar its around turn 8, so his ability is just like a reset.

Might I suggest Batterskull, Stormrider Rig, etc?
May 7, 2015 12:11 p.m.
I like the batterskull. The rig is way to weak in a deck like this. This is more of a board control deck.

Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmothis a good land true. But I rarely run into black mana issues. Only other reason I would run it was if I ran Filth.

let me know what you think about Sharuum Shuffle iceiceiceMTG .
Don't you think that some of these cards are nearly useless? When you draw a card such as Helm of the Ghastlord or Leyline of Anticipation does this really give you a sizeable advantage? Each card in the deck should have synergy with other cards, also what does Mask of Riddles combo with, i understand its a sweet card but it doesnt seem to fit very well in this deck. Web of Inertia and Steel of the Godhead i would recommend replacing as well
