This deck is all about tormenting your opponents throughout the game with an onslaught of curses, such as Overwhelming Splendor, Torment of Scarabs, Curse of Misfortunes , Curse of Thirst , and many, many more awful fates for your foes to suffer. Included within are cards like Bitterheart Witch and the aforementioned Curse of Misfortunes to cheat out your more expensive curses, as well as Zur the Enchanter to cheat out the curses that cost three and below. Other ways to tutor your curses are Enlightened Tutor, Diabolic Tutor, and Beseech the Queen. Along with the myriad diabolical curses, we also have general enchantment support like Daxos the Returned, Doomwake Giant, and Auramancer, the latter of which comes with various blink effects for increased enchantment recursion. Such blink effects include Venser, Shaper Savant and Skybind , the latter of which doubles as further enchantment support. Finally, the commander, Ertai, the Corrupted was selected not only for his color identity's inclusion of various cool curses, but for his ability to convert enchantments into counterspells. Truly, this deck will ensure that your commander games make for a terrible night.
