PRIMER High in the sky, a faint glimmer of shadow on the horizon, flies Arcades, the Strategist . Below him the currents of his Bant mana and the muscles of his capable lieutenants work night and day to construct a castle fated to be his throne. It is built atop metal plates and circuits the designs of which have been lost to all but the oldest beings of the planes. Some day soon Arcades will take his seat and direct the battlements, and the castle will rise atop spindly metal legs and lumber towards the destruction of the Elder Dragon's enemies. Should he be repulsed or even exiled back to the skies victory will still be his, however, for he still has his magnum opus: a faint, pallid-green twisting of light reaching for the heavens, guarded by three knights: the Fugitive, the Titan, and the King. Replace: Add Wall of Stolen Identity, Crashing Drawbridge, Birth of Meletis

DESCRIPTION Arcades Moving Castle (Name credit to a redditor from a thread I don't remember) is meant to take advantage of the new Arcades making defenders into not-defenders while remaining versatile. The idea is to put Arcades out turn four or five and then start dropping defenders for that sweet, sweet card draw. Build your board, going aggro as you can, then win that way with card advantage. Or, alternatively, let's say your friends keep bouncing Arcades, the Strategist back to the command zone. You can't seem to draw Lightning Greaves or Asceticism either, what do you do? Well, the answer is Helix Pinnacle . You've got a ton of ramp and can can go infinite a couple ways while your defenders hold down the line. Namely, Overgrown Battlement OR Axebane Guardian with card:Freed From the Reel OR Pemmin's Aura goes infinite (you can also search up a lot of parts of this engine with Drift of Phantasms . Also, once you've used one of your fancy untap enchantments why not use the other? Enchant Vorel of the Hull Clade to double counters and untap till you win! Alternatively, Intruder Alarm + Wall of Kelp + Axebane Guardian gives you infinite kelp and, with Arcades, the Strategist out, draws your deck.

The deck does a lot of things with card draw and combos, yes, but it's also got some stuff going on with lifegain. Panharmonicon doubles all the card draw. Aurification bricks any creature that manages to get through your wall of defenders that also includes Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive and Ghostly Prison which all make it hard for them to even swing.

Slaughter the Strong , Fell the Mighty , and other board wipe/removal misses your board by a long shot (Even the massive Colossus of Akros ) while hitting all the swingy good stuff that would otherwise be a challenge to your beefed up defenders. You can also do a lot of blinky fun with Brago, King Eternal

Colossus of Akros , Tree of Redemption , and Clone Legion could be used as big old finishers if the infinite thing doesn't pan out. You can also do Lure + Wall of Nets or Fog Bank to take care of someone's entire defense.

Possibly Add In:

1x Carven Caryatid (cantrip defender)

1x Jaddi Offshoot (little extra lifegain could be nice, also 1 drop)

1x Meishin, the Mind Cage (if we have a decent number of cards, essentially makes our creatures the only ones who can fight effectively)

1x Wall of Mulch (more card draw in a pinch)

Add in:

1x Sheltering Word (Arcade could use more protecc)

1x Primal Rage Gives trample.

1x Wall of Stolen Identity (owned. great card, locks down a threat and copies it)

1x Access Tunnel (better rogue's passage for walls.dec)

1x Turntimber Symbiosis   (Good MDFC for the deck)

Take out:

1x Gomazoa

1x Valor Made Real
