2x Whip of Erebos, 2x Erebos, God of the Dead, 2x Devour Flesh, 3x Desacration Demon, 3x Dark Betrayal, 3x Duress for sideboard?

I don't really want 4 drops because then I'll need another land or 2 in the SB.

Well the reason i suggested what i did is because your deck is mostly aggro, and if you are going agaisnt a deck were the game is being drawn out and your aggro plan needs a backup, you have one.

I don't really think I want to change my game plan. I want to just make be aggro easier with Duress es to take out Verdicts/removal. I could definitely see a version of this with demons and whips to give it better game if it goes long though. But that really just turns into MBD which this isn't.

I definitely think Master of the Feast should be in here. By the time the drawback (ha, literally DRAWback) has found them an answer he's already been bashing their face in. I would take out the Lifebane Zombie from the main and cut 2 Thrill-Kill Assassin for 3 of this guy.. Otherwise, nice deck +1

I think Desecration Demon could find its place in here. In aggro decks the sacrificing of a creature is so devastating so your other creatures can get in, so it could be a good high curve.

Hmm... I'll think about DD.

I am against DD in this deck. I think it will weaken the deck by diluting and increasing the average CMC. The one problem you are going to run into is those damn annoyng WW decks that run playsets of Gods Willing and Brave the Elements . I hit one of those this last FNM with my own Red Aggro deck and hit the wall. It was a BS fight, and it just...yeah, it was a frustrating match, to say the least.

But for what the deck is, it is a good, solid deck.

I second the idea of Master of the Feast . A 5/5 flyer for 3 is ridiculous, despite giving your opponent card advantage.

After some testing with both Master of the Feast and Lifebane Zombie , I have found that I almost always prefer to have the zombie. I may go up in lifebane numbers sometime in the future. The information he provides is incredibly powerful and picking apart their hand for that Polukranos, World Eater is just so good. And a 3/1 intimidate is always nice.

How is Gift of Orzhova treating you when you side it in? I'm doing my own Mono-Black aggro build and I'm thinking of adding it into the sideboard. Your observation on Master of the Feast is already pretty handy. I feel like he'd be good in a mirror match where you know Lifebane Zombie won't be useful.

Gift of Orzhova is awesome. I was playing against R/W Burn and he scooped to it on a Herald of Torment . Aggro decks just can't race it.

ive been playing with similar but slightly more budget version of this deck (minus Thoughtseize / Mutavault ) and one card I suggest is Xathrid Necromancer . he really gives this deck a lot of reach for games that go a little longer, plus he protects you against board wipes.

I only have a total of 10 humans so Xathrid Necromancer isn't very good. Plus there are way better 3 drops like Herald of Torment , Mogis's Marauder , and Lifebane Zombie . I'd even go Master of the Feast over it.

I have to say, as a matter of opinion, The strokes are a pop band in the disguise of a rock band... Making them akin to Taylor Swift and her 'country'. Sorry, but man Born on the Bayou would be a better fit (Swamps...) than The Strokes.

And calling The Jokes, Ahem, the The Strokes Alternative Rock is a direct insult to Alternative rock immortals like Alice in Chains. The Strokes could only hope to stroke the chain in comparison of lyrical and raw musical talent.

I'm glad you're taking The Strokes jokes well. Sorry man, I'm assuming I'm older here, but good music has long died years ago. And I do like music from the Mississippi Delta Blues era (think 1890's). Blues and Rock are my favorite English genres, And actually knowing my music history (damn snobbish fool :) The White Stripes (7 armpit hairs would crush the lead singer), The Killers, Panic at the Disco and The Strokes might as well be red-headed step-children inbreeds (Proof that these are all pop bands - similar dress, music, and especially garbage lyrics).

It will truly be a shame when there will be a day when someone will say "Man that Lady Gaga, that was good music, what happened to good music?" And sorry bud, but The Croaks are not too far off.
