MTGMachine The bonus of Island's is that they're uncounterable and the power that they emit is so strong that every turn you will draw an Island. It's pretty insane really!

I think putting one (and no more than one) Mountain in the sideboard would be OP
April 20, 2015 6:53 p.m.
MonoRedWins I have a feeling you may be bias over Mountains, i assume this from your username. But sadly, Mountains or any other card put into this deck that isn't an Island in its true form would totally ruin the deck. For one, it would be harder to draw Island! And we can't have that.

Enigma64 It's a hard choice when you put a foil Island into the deck, it might be too powerful!
Analog_98 Not as bad when some guy Thoughtseize'd my Loxodon Smiter haha

Eh, you need to be careful running 61 cards, you may end up getting mana screwed. Regardless, definitely competitive. +1.

Storm Crow, also, your land base seems a little low.
April 22, 2015 9:55 p.m.
TheMTGartifact Pssh, who needs to draw cards when all you really need is a single Island to combo with Island
steelmanred313 61 cards is the perfect mana curve for this deck, others may not be the same but with 61 cards you're guaranteed to draw enough land to cast Island every time
ninjaman16782 Storm Crow is one of the most powerful cards in the game, but there's no match for 61 Island!
April 22, 2015 10:10 p.m.
ninjaman16782 You're getting close, but after vigorous play testing by thousands of testers, a single Island has been found to be more powerful than even a FOIL Storm Crow
April 22, 2015 10:51 p.m.
Do you realize that the only card more powerful than Island is the great and majestic Storm Crow. You don't play Storm Crow, Storm Crow plays you.

Honestly Island is the most powerful card in Magic. An entire deck of them is obviously unbeatable. +1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1

Also, I notice youve done this as a Standard deck, but me and my friends play modern, so Ive swapped out some of the Island, for Island
April 28, 2015 7:40 a.m.
daedrafire I'd recommend playing Island turn 1, it sets you up to play a Island on turn 2. Yea good idea, that's the bonus of having such a flexible deck, it can be played in all formats, even vintage!

You're definitely doing it wrong, if you're going to spend upwards of $500 on a deck, there should be at least one Storm Crow in there. Storm Crow bows to noone, and bends islands to its will. If you don't run Storm Crow it is because you are not worthy. Storm Crow plays you, so don't even think about playing Storm Crow.
April 30, 2015 12:10 a.m.
kameenook I disagree! How would you even cast Storm Crow without the mighty Island! The Storm Crow bows down to the Island
April 30, 2015 12:27 a.m.
Storm Crow uses those islands by bending them to his will, and he's pretty much casting the islands for free. Have you ever played against a Storm Crow EDH deck? Storm Crow never loses, and always has a plethora of islands untapped.

smackder I'm not yet sure how you pulled it off, but when I checked card odds, all eight sections said you had 100% chance of drawing an Island. How'd you get those odds?
