Just play tested it and I'm having a lot of trouble getting a solid mana base. I'd recommend another Island or two.

Also, because you have 61x Islands, the deck is less consistent than it should be.

Besides those facts, this deck is still easily the top Standard deck out there.

Oh, and also, Scornful Egotist would be great here. He really wou-ALL HAIL THE GREAT LORD EGOTIST

Coopernicus after years of play testing, i've found that 61 is the ideal amount of Island for all meta, but i encourage you to give other combinations of Island combined with Island a go.

Figag and Alex, you guys are clearly mistaken. After Island comes Fungusaur, then Titan of Eternal Fire.

smackder, Scornful Egotist in the sideboard would be good, especially against Mountains.

Coopernicus That card is pretty inspirational, but nowhere as good as the sideboard cards are currently

just a question, how do you make the words move in your description?

July 28, 2015 1:38 p.m.

smackder says... #14

CheeseBro The secrets of HTML! What a lot of people don't know is that the description is basically just a HTML doc, spend a bit of time googling code or apply your already existing HTML knowledge and you might find some cool things to add to your description!

This made me laugh +1 from me haha. I'm going to take this to my next fnm and wreck on some people. I hope your art comp goes well. I would vote but I have no facebook. If I make one though I will keep this in mind.

It's true. Island was the most clearly superior land back in the first few sets. Watch out for Tsunami

August 1, 2015 10:58 p.m.

smackder says... #20

paytolee Don't be silly 61 is perfect

imagnuson501 This deck has no problem with Tsunami, it literally just plays another Island

alex105008 says... #21

Playing another Island is to much work. Why not prevent Tsunami from resolving. "In response, I'll flash in an Island, trigger, I'll draw 7 cards, put 7 islands onto the battlefield, trigger, I'll search my l.g.s. for an Island, trigger, you pay for the Island, trigger, you get depressed, trigger, you either prevent Tsunami from resolving because you don't want to go through this again, or trigger you concede for the same reason :P

alex105008 From a flavour point of view, wouldn't casting Tsunami make the Islands more powerful? Island is powerful enough when it's just a calm body of water, but when it's a Tsunami it would be even more lethal

This deck right here is the reason i don't use this website for proper mtg decks and only for laughs at how stupid people can be. this is the reason we can't have nice things. seriously second top deck on the website, faith in humanity lost.
