Due to your list, you will draw Island every game, but Mountain could be just the thing you need to beat Island hate cards. They play Boil? you still have a Mountain! Its purpose would be to keep you alive while getting to the Island win condition.

Getting around boil is easy! Just play more Island! Island hate cards can't keep them down, the best solution is Island itself. Island is so powerful that it can beat it own hate.
We appreciate you're contribution to the deck, but have you ever played it? Careful if you do, but let me tell you, the deck list is perfect.

Well, I play tested this against a Mountain deck, and this thing lost in 53 turns. I'd down vote if I could.

That's because you've utilized Mountains as your main win condition for most of your mtg battles. The difference between Mountains and Islands is that Mountains rely on specific cards to counter specific decks, such as the burning city Mountain against the City of Brass combo, ect, and with Islands, there is no counter to it. The Island strategy revolves around utilizing cunning to force your opponent to lose. Also, Islands are already a hard counter to every possible deck except when battling against another Island combo deck. This is the only rare time you need to utilize your sideboard. I can see why you enjoy playing Mountains, as it's a quick deck that attempts to shut down your opponents, but Islands combo is more potent as it turns your opponent's combo against them, while being under pressure from yours. I hope did a good job explaining my experience playing with and against these decks. You might want to ask the Island combo's creator if you need a better explanation.

Unfortunately, you are wrong. while this deck is excellent and extremely consistent, you ignored the interaction between Mountain and Mountain. If you can play it right, it does what this deck can do, and faster. Common mistake, after all, you are an Island player and would not know how to play such a complex deck.

Im sorry, but Island isn't legal in standard (or else it would be overpowered AF)
I recommend turning it into a vintage deck

Jesus doesn't turn water into wine, he turns wine into water... Islands are superior

Why would jesus turn wine into water? Then he'd have an ocean, lake, pond, river, or other body of water.
Islands are surrounded by water, they are not constituent of water.

I liked the last one. Hilarious. The first one was my second favorite, but the last one is by far the best imo. But very nicely done, they're all hilarious.
Love the background, although it does kinda look like a swamp from what you can see. Still very cool.

hey, I think you should add some Island. I synergizes with Island and creates an infinite combo with Island for infinite Island

O.o I'm detecting a combo with the potential to end time and space! DON'T DO IT! DON'T ADD IT! FOR THE SAKE OF EVERYTHING, DON'T DO IT! Please, save humanity, and forget that combo. It's not worth using for a booster pack.

TheNextRedDude Why would you ever side out a Island for a Mountain it reduces your chances of drawing Island
