I recomend dropping the Riot Control , Pacifism , Safe Passage , and Armored Ascension in favor of Hero of Bladehold , more Crusader of Odric , Odric, Master Tactician and maybe even a few more Cloudshift .

Also if you are willing to shell out some money you could use Brimaz, King of Oreskos or if you want to keep it low budget use Court Street Denizen but no more than 2 of those.

If I drop the pacifisms I have no way to stop an opponent from murdering me with one buffed up creature. The safe passages I want to replace all with riot controls. Also, armored ascension is what I consider to be one of my most powerful cards.

Intangible Virtue is great and all, but I usually use that for all out token decks, so you either take Soldier of the Pantheon and other creatures out for more token cards like Gather the Townsfolk , Raise the Alarm , Midnight Haunting or Doomed Traveler , or, you take out Intangible Virtue. If you go the route of taking out the 2x Intangible Virtues, then you can take out 1x of Cloudshift (since only two creatures really take advantage of the ETB effects: Champion of the Parish and Soul's Attendant ) and then you have room for Pacifism or Journey to Nowhere or Oblivion Ring to stop your opponent's pesky creatures. And the rest of your two Cloudshifts? I find it hard to believe you don't have Brave the Elements in a mono-white deck, it's a must. Finally, although Elspeth can potentially give your creatures flying, you lack fliers, and would wanna cover all bases, especially if your opponent is running quite a bit and attacking you block-free because you have no flying blockers. Replace the two Ordeal of Heliod for Gift of Orzhova - just as effective, giving it lifelink, but also gives your creature flying. Hope my suggestions can help you!

Oops, my apologies, I missed your Armored Ascension for flying. Well, Gift of Orzhova is still a viable option. And in that case, the 2x Ordeal of Heliod s can go towards 2x more Brave the Elements .

Good to hear! Yeah, I'm a budget player so I make sure all my card suggestions are cheap and affordable. And with the Cloudshift and Captain of the Watch combo, honestly, I would say playtest it more 'cause what I honestly see is that combo not being pulled off frequently. And as comparison, playtest with 2x Brave the Elements for the Cloudshifts, and see how often that wins you games. Brave the Element is a real winner for mono-w deck, you gotta have a set of those. And I'd still suggest fitting in your Pacifism etc in place of Ordeal of Heliod 'cause if you playtest against other decks, there'll be creatures that are just a real bitch to deal with. Those are like a must in mono-w too. Like just an example, opponent plays Agent of the Fates early and spams heroic next turn, GG. How are you going to deal with that? You have no Journey to Nowhere or Oblivion Ring . If you still like your buffs, Bonds of Faith is an excellent, versatile card.

I would either up the land count or add in a playset if Preeminent Captain to cheat out the Captain of the Watch . She is just too high of a casting cost to reliably cast her with 21 lands, even with just the one shrine.

Preeminent Captain would absolutely destroy in here. You'll be dropping stuff for free every attack phase. Plus if you fit in Brave the Elements then it's basically over for your opponent.

Martial Coup , Veteran Armorsmith , Veteran Swordsmith in any number or order and take out Spirit Link or Ordeal of Heliod and Entreat the Angels . If you are going to go full soldier you dont really need lifegain, and although I love Entreat the Angels running just one in this deck seems kind of pointless

I hAve a question, why is Doomsayer in there? I was thinking for champion of the parish but wanted to make sure. I feel as though he doesn't help the deck very well. +1 anyway though. I would swap out cloudshift for Brave the Elements unless your meta is huge on removal spells.

Honestly? I agree with the Doomsayer. He is not great for this. I think I will take him, and 1 Cloudshift out for Brave the Elements.

Looking real good now! Hope the changes work well for you. One last thought though, I run a mono white kithkin deck and I main boarded a few Spear of Heliod for boosts and some nice removal. Your deck ran pretty fine without removal but if you're ever in need that's a budget friendly card for this deck.

Thanks so much! I am thinking it looks great now, all I have to do is get the money for those damned Preeminent Captain s, and the 3 Hero of Bladehold s. :(

The Army of Amsnad is my deck along the same lines of this. Check it out if you want. It might give you an idea, or you could offer me ideas. :p thanks

Do you ever run out of steam? If so, Mentor of the Meek is the prefect card to keep you going strong!

Ok so here we have a great build but in constructive criticism ill do my best. In my personal opinion, Armored Ascension is completely dead in this deck. Only because you are running 21 lands and by turn four you will be much better off with additional knights. Honor the pure is a must have here and i see youve done that, possibly run 4? The only card i dont see and could easily replace Crusader of Odric is Knight Exemplar . Not only is is better towards your devotion if you get to your nykthos (also run two of these and 20 plains) but it is an instant target and absolutely must be dealt with before your opponent can even begin to knock out your creatures. This deck unfortunately is always vulnerable to red and black mass destroy cards ex:Damnation, Mutilate, Earthquake. But if you have a way to make everything indestructible, half of those cards are immediately ineffective. I have a deck much like this and i never end up needing Cloudshift , i replaced it with Guardians' Pledge , seemed to work alot better.

correction to last post, this is soldier deck not knight, no need for knight exemplar lol... just replace Armored Ascension with Guardians' Pledge

Field Marshal ? Precinct Captain is decent too. And I suggest Rootborn Defenses for the inevitable turn 4 Wrath of God /Supreme Verdict /Damnation .

You have a pretty good start here. I think you should lower the curve quite a bit to where it tops out at 4. This way you can reasonably run 22 lands and still hit your creatures on curve. With 6 mana spells and only 22 lands you will often get screwed. I would cut anything above 4, and try to trim down the 4 drops down until you only have 3 or 4. I think you should look to add:
Field Marshal (this one should definitely be a 4 of)

I want to replace the 2 Pacifism with Spirit Link .
