The purpose of the deck is to control the board in the early game with burn, get to 5 or 7 mana and flash in a Dictate of the Twin Gods at the end of your opponents turn and kill them on the next turn.

It is important to note the earlier use of 7 mana, even though [dictate of the twin gods]] costs 5. Through text I have learned to never let an opposing red deck have one to work with. Nothing hurts more than that one last Lightning Strike or Stoke the Flames before an untap. With 7 mana you should be able to use Deflecting Palm for safety or the immediate kill.

The Deflecting Palm + Dictate of the Twin Gods combo means that you will be effectively quadrupling the base damage of the source you choose. I have found that not many people will see this coming game one, and will act with much greater hesitation in the next two.

The sideboard is one of my biggest quandaries. I have no idea what to really do with it. Suggestions are more than welcome
