Sideboard

The Temur hide in the thickets and ambush their prey only when it benefits them. Keep yourself hidden until you can counter your opponent and catch them off guard, revealing your secret army and overwhelming your opponent with an onslaught they cannot defend against. Whether you wait for your opponent to rush in an all-out assault and you reveal your Thousand Winds, or you command your attack and surprise your adversary with the mighty Surrak Dragonclaw - whom invigorates your creatures - and lay they to waste, or taking their most troublesome creature to be used against them with Jeering Instigator. For decks with numerous creatures that are trouble to reign in, don't be afraid to sub in an Icy Blast... or four! Temur Ascendancy and Trap Essence both allow you to keep your control while also accelerating your offense. While costly, siding in a Pearl Lake Ancient or two can help combat decks that fight you for control, alongside that Surrak. Mistfire Weaver can be an essential board trap, or shield, against cards that would tear apart your important players. All the while, make sure you have your Secret Plans very apparent, in multiples if possible, to scare your opponent to even flinch and keep that hand full of useful counters. Remember, when leading your assault, keep the key players morphed until absolutely essential, namely the powerful, and hard to kill, Sagu Mauler alongside the brooding Hooded Hydra. When your big dogs are out, the already useful Stubborn Denial (which prevents tempo hard casting) becomes a painful thorn in your opponent's side. Any problems with putting your players on the board are rare to occur; Morphing isn't color demanding and, in a pinch, leave your Trail of Mystery to thin your deck and amass resources, and the arcane Rattleclaw Mystic will be glad to lend you all the mana you'll need.

Feel free to leave suggestions! Keep in mind this deck is supposed to be fun and easily available to those without a plethora of money to spend on magic, but still be able to keep up with some of the more competitive decks (there are obviously lines that can't be crossed, but it's in the spirit of fun and nothing else).
