@doriboncore I have and he may be side boarded however Herald of Torment is used for its utility its rarely casted as a creature but as an enchant that offers +3/+3 and flying to Erebos, God of the Dead or any creature really which in turn makes a bomb. This also gives another source of a trigger from Monastery Mentor the fact that can also be used as a creature in a pinch is a bonus.
Also Master of the Feast is counter intuitive as this is a cruel control deck I control my opponent by making them discard and destroying any creature that hits the field.

I'm probably the biggest Godsend fan on this site but I only advice running 1. 2nd copy could be Spear of Heliod or Brimaz.

Ya I was thinking that as well APPLE01DOJ. I may cut it favor of a 4th sorin but I'm not sure. Brimaz see that brings up another dilemma I can't decide if I want to run him or the monk which one will really generate the most tokens. I think the monk will generate more with all the spells but early game the brimaz may generate more so I'm torn.
I do like that artifact you linked I will swap that for now. Although it may come out for another monk/sorin.

I really like the added vigilance on Brimaz. it makes things like Devouring Light free... On the other hand I like prowess a lot too.

I love Devouring Light as much as the next guy, but wouldn't you get more utility out of Banishing Light? Sure it loses out to enchantment removal, but doesn't have the same limitations as Devouring Light.(P.S. I just realized there both "Lights", that is kinda weird.)

ScorpioXP The reason that Devouring Light is better because I can use creatures (esp tokens) to cast it for free. So while it does have more limitations casting it is essentially free which makes it better. It is also instant cast and therefor cannot be undone where as Banishing Light is a enchant that can be destroyed, returning the permanent. For this same reason Utter End trumps Banishing Light despite its 1 more mana. Enchant destruction is in pretty much all decks in the current meta as Theros block is very very enchant heavy so that puts Banishing Light at a severe downside.

I play control, and palace siege has proved to be quite a neusance against me. Also, you don't need deicide and erase. Gods aren't played heavily any more and you should highly consider replacing it with some hand disruption like Despise or Thoughtseize in side board. Disruption and removal is the reason you should be playing black. Nice deck but needs a little more fine tuning and the discription needs a spell check. +1

Angus300 Thanks for the +1 and good ideas. Thoughtseize is the main board but only 2, I actually am going to raise it to 4 (2 main deck and 2 sideboard and Utter End to 3 as that will take care of whips and any gods I may come across didn't think about that. I also wanted Despise from the beginning but its so specific that hurts its value to the deck however its preemptive removal which is good.
I hate fine tuning but that is where I am lol we agree there.
And ya the description is not close to done its a work in progress.

Despise is nice because it targets the same things you're likely going to grab anyways unless you're facing control.

Need decks to Playtest against so you have one I can test against (must be standard) Drop a slug. I will playtest using Xmages AI and provide the Game logs under Playtest Results. (if you would like to play your deck yourself and have Xmage get at me so we can set a time).

Maybe you can playtest against my decks, since I also need some testing:
Masterwork of Spite, Inspired by Madness
Bounce is the Name of the Game
Let me know how it goes (>.o)b

Have you considered Master of the Feast instead of Herald of Torment. I think you will get more bang for your buck.
If you could comment on my decks, I would appreciate it.
