Sideboard

Maybeboard

A mid-range attacking deck with the ability to go toe-to-toe with aggro decks, grind out mid-range matches, or even play a control-style game.

Versus Red aggro strategies the deck has pretty decent game in Game 1 with the Sylvan Caryatid/Courser of Kruphix package combined with a fair bit of cheap burn.

Versus Abzan aggro the deck has enough action out of the board to take out their creatures as they come down. Their best card in the matchup will be either Thoughtseize or Dromoka's Command.

Roast and Disdainful Stroke are answers for G/x monster strategies, with Anger of the Gods a key weapon to combat Deathmist Raptor .

The deck has enough countermagic post-board, and enough creatures and planeswalkers to outrun the removal and permission of Esper Dragons and U/B Control.

The evasive creatures combined with either Xenagos, the Reveler or Sarkhan Unbroken sticking around for a couple of turns fare well against other mid-range decks.
