Just got back into magic after a few years off and I bought this pre-con deck "Wrath of the Mortals". I want to make a burn deck with some control. Thus far I've just added some items I got from my brother and am looking for some constructive feedback on how to make this more competitive.

Testing a swap of Spellheart Chimera with Nivix Cyclops. In most games I've played, Spellheart takes too long to ramp up. I feel that if this deck doesn't win early to mid it won't win at all. I am concerned about the loss of fliers, but the cyclops should improve the early game. Fluxcharger is another option I may consider, the CMC of 4 is a bit of a let down though.
