Please Criticize and give me a +1!!!
Hey guys, this is a deck I've been thinking about and I've decided to put into effect. This may be what I convert my RG Aggro deck to for standard play. I feel it has a lot of resiliency to control and lots of removal due to Stubborn Denial and Temur Charm. Here's the starting line up.
----CRITTERS----
4 Frost Walker: a four power on 2 mana is insane and will quickly shift the tides of a game with even 1 swing through. Also activates ferocious.
4 Heir of the Wilds: a 2/2 for two is a bear, with the ferocious upside, and then there's deathtouch. Sign me up.
4 Savage Knuckleblade: just an amazing and aggresive card that is awesome and a late game mana sink, slightly.
4 Surrak, the Hunt Caller: a 5/4 for four is insane already, but with haste almost always, how can you go wrong?
4 Den Protector: awesome card with evasion that will keep you in the long run and help you stabilize late game.
2 Yasova Dragonclaw: 4/2 body for three with trample and late game mana sink that steals the best creatures in the format, at the least its a very obnoxious card that steals your deathmist raptor.
2 Surrak Dragonclaw 6/6 flasher that will promise a quick game by giving everything trample against mono red and any token builds, and will help you in a control matchup.
----TOOL BOX----
3 Atarka's Command: this card will win you games in somay ways. Easily the best command. Better in other types of decks, but works just fine in this one.
3 Stubborn Denial: just one of the main reasons to run blue. It protects your creatures from kill spells and counter spells, it's there when you need it.
4 Crater's Claws: it can give you those lasts points of damage to win the game, it will get rid of that one obnoxious creature, that one Stormbreath Dragon or that obnoxious Courser of Kruphix. Just a versatile burn spell that gets you were you need to be.
2 Dragon Fodder: just a trolling card that may come out of this list, or at least some may come out. It's just a card that gives you extra board presence and helps you go wide and not large.
----SIDE BOARD----
3 Hornet Nest: just a funny card that you can roast or crater claws for a lot of flyers, also puts a stopper in Atarka red and other weenie decks
2 Surrak Dragonclaw: just here to help you along to the late game, also may come in against control. Fun card that does its job well all the time.
1 Stubborn Denial: here to come in against control and burn if you really need them.
3 Disdainful Stroke: comes in against large dragon decks and control decks, basically anything running large threats.
3 Roast: just here to handle all large and annoying threats from Tasigur, the Golden Fang to Siege Rhino. Just helps keep you swinging through large and obnoxious threats.
3 Feed the Clan: comes in against Aggro and burn builds, to gain you some life. Just stalls for you to find a threat or and makes sure you gain an annoying amount of life.
