This was my first deck getting back into commander. I started with a pretty stock Rhys the Redeemed list and quickly discovered the joys of rafiq the many. Then I got better at magic and discovered the wonderful joys of control and esper - playing a god awful Esper Delver deck in modern, then Esper Spirits more successfully but still bad. So, with my love of Esper I made this monstrosity.

It started as a joke with cards like Paradox Haze and Sphinx of the Steel Wind, but slowly became the abusive neighbor it is now. It's pretty stock control - recycle Capsize as much as possible, remove threats, win with their hand and Darksteel Forge + Nevinyrral's Disk + Planar Bridge and maybe an Leyline of Anticipation + Unwinding Clock for good measure.

The deck is more of a money sink than an actual functioning thing, but I have fun playing it and my opponent's (who aren't new at the game or bitter af) enjoy playing around it, so I'd call it a win in those regards. I am tightening the screws atm - tracking down a few more staples like Scrubland, Wasteland and some better mana rocks as well as a judge foil Time Warp - but she's playable and that's all I really wanted.
