This deck is a hilarious version of Zur the Enchanter lockout. It isn't meant to win (though it sometimes does). It is a multiplayer deck that takes the biggest most threatening player and knocks him down, shoves him on his knees begging not to pay 4 mana and 2 life to keep his creatures on the field for the turn.

When people see Zur they immediately see who is going to die first in the game, but it is your job to see that they don't.

This is a work in progress, and it needs some serious tweaks, but it does its job relatively well.

Cast our friend Zur, and either give him Diplomatic Immunity or give him Awesome Presence if he is not in immediate danger of being blown off the field in a blaze of fire and brimstone.

When Zur gets to attack, the general plan is to deem a single player as the biggest threat, has fastest moving deck, etc and bring out the big guns. Zur-tutor out either spot removal Oblivion Ring , Soul Tithe , etc; Zur-tutor out mass unpleasantness Season of the Witch , Vile Consumption , etc, or if that special someone is likely to overrun you with big creatures, you can pull the ace in the hole: Web of Inertia Propaganda and cap it with Animate Dead to take a creature you have previously made impossible to stay on the battlefield and make it your own personal blocker. If you Soul Tithe d a creature, it must have been big and nasty enough to hold you over while your threat is paying significant sums of mana and life to attack you. See Norn's Annex

Enjoy playing a less mean but more unpleasant Zur deck! I have had loads of fun with him, and plan to improve him soon. I am actively avoiding making this Zur voltron.
