So uh this is my first actual commander deck! As you can see by the maybe-board, I have done a bit of thinking about this deck and potential directions. Maybe you'll pull out different themes for your own deck!

At its core, this is a ping-burn deck. It revolves around the ability to turn those 1 damage pings into multi-target Lightning Bolts with Ghyrson Starn, Kelermorph. He's incredible when combined with things like Basilisk Collar for instakill and major heals off every trigger, Darksteel Plate + Mithril Coat for protection, Scythe of the Wretched to steal a board's worth of enemy creatures when you wipe the board, or Arm with AEther + Sigil of Sleep to bounce the board, and as a draw engine with Tandem Lookout and Curiosity + Ophidian Eye.

Ghyrson turns 1/2 mana ping-all-enemy-creature spells into enemy-only global Lightning Bolt. Examples include Blazing Volley + Boiling Earth + End the Festivities + Smash to Dust + Tectonic Hazard and Electrickery and Fang Dragon etc

Turns triggered/activated pingers into Lightning Bolts aimed at every opponent at the same time. Major categories of triggers here are casting non-creature spells, creatures entering under your control, creatures attacking, and pinging based on normal actions (both yours and your opponent's). Eroded Canyon + Shivan Gorge and Agate Instigator + Coruscation Mage + Exalted Flamer of Tzeentch + Firebrand Archer + Gimli, Counter of Kills + Immolation Shaman + Kessig Flamebreather + Molten Gatekeeper + Scalding Viper + Witty Roastmaster and AEther Sting Impact Tremors + Makeshift Munitions + Roiling Vortex and Rowan, Scholar of Sparks etc

Speaking of creatures entering, we create a ton of 1/1 creature tokens to maximize enter triggers and attack triggers. When a 1/1 does damage, thanks to Ghyrson, it functionally hits creatures/opponents hit as 3/1s. So each token potentially does 3 damage per enter trigger, and 3 damage when it actually does damage. We use casting noncreature spells as the primary engines for creating tokens, with things like: Fountainport and Agate Instigator + Coruscation Mage + Third Path Iconoclast and Goblinslide and Ral, Crackling Wit + Saheeli Rai + Saheeli, Sublime Artificer etc

Chandra's Incinerator deserves special notice. When a pinger shoots an opponent for 1, CA copies that 1 damage to a creature/planeswalker that player controls. Ghyrson pings the opponent for 2, and the creature/pw for 2. And then CA copies the 2 damage from player to creature/pw as well, resulting in 3 damage to player and 5 damage divided between up to 2 creatures/pws they control, in 3 + 2 damage to 1 or 2 creatures/pws that player controls. And the best thing is that is costs {R} if you have triggered 1 pinger + Ghyrson with 2+ opponents, as that would be 6 noncombat damage.

And speaking of drawing, careful to maximize drawing, unlimited hand size, and deck control. This helps ensure that even though it runs lean on lands and mana rocks, you are still able to hit most land drops. Vast majority of things cost 3 mana or less, which you should hit turn 3 reliably. Deck control tech includes Fountainport + Reliquary Tower + Study Hall + Temple of Epiphany + Thundering Falls and Exalted Flamer of Tzeentch + Tandem Lookout and Harnfel, Horn of Bounty + Skullclamp + Thought Vessel and Curiosity + Ophidian Eye + Rhystic Study + Wizard Class and Ral, Crackling Wit + Ral, Storm Conduit etc

Once you get 2-3 pingers down plus your commander, it starts getting to the place where you're dealing 9-12 unblockable damage to every opponent for each spell you (or they) play, and swinging for crazy pants damage with 1/1s
