Correct. Most b/w tokens decks are. Disrupt your opponent's hand, kill their threats, swarm with anthemed up tokens. In this version sorin and spear make for the anthems.

Plus one from me I love token decks how has it been testing. I also run a token deck but I focus on the convoke mechanic here is my list Convoking the Mardu. Have you tried Herald of Anafenza and Seraph of the Masses ?

Hi, thanks for the suggestions. I actually am building a deck around the herald and it is a warrior tribal deck.
I like your swarming mardu it looks really quick. This one is meant to be a control deck destroying your opponents hand until you can win the game. The seraph might have a home in there somewhere. Any suggestions on what to pull out?

I think you want Elspeth mainboard. It fits your gameplan A and is it's own gameplan B. It will add a whole lot of power to the deck and theoretically is just better than Triplicate Spirits
and should be played before it. Maybe swap the 2 in the side for 2x Utter End
. You'd probably have to run 25 lands if you do and might want to run more temples to smooth your draws. Running some green sources would be painless and give you access to Abzan Charm
.
Dictate of Heliod is a good anthem to consider as well since your 2 are legendary.

If I add green it makes sense to play courser and caryatid too.
I think you're right about elspeth, I'll move her main. I might cut spectral all together or move them to the board.
I'm intrigued by dictate. I tried running it in a selesnya deck and it was bonkers when it was good. It's another great way to spend 5 mana too.
I was considering the delve creature removal card as well since my early game plan loads the graveyard with fetches, and hand disruption. I can regularly cast it for a single b. If i do that I might move hero's downfall to the sb.
I think it might be worth finding room in the sb for deicide as well. Mostly for banishing lights and chained to the rocks. I feel like this is on the verge of being playable.

Your right Murderous Cut would be good here.

I've seen a lot deck lists featuring gods like keranos and athreos. Erase will be better long term.
