carddraw is good if you want the game to be fun. if its all about winning (yeah this can become boring in multiplayer edh) you want to tutor. and in my playgroup there are 2 decks that give me trouble: combo nekusar because its really fast, and a meren deck. the nekusar deck is just really fast so its a race or occasianlly i can lock him down completely.. but this meren deck is really hard to beat with karn as your general. i can only win if im way faster than him [that actually happens often enough to no be pissed ;)] OR if i get ugin, exile his board and swing to death/ combo right away. because if the sac engine is running i cant animate things and that means no combos and no beatdown. cant even keep karn in play at that point. i put in It That Betrays from my imaginary sideboard when i play him but it only really helps if he doesnt get his sac loops going (because he just clears the whole board, and then in the end i have to sac It That Betrays.. mehhh). and i have to find it in the 99 /sigh

There's no sideboard in EDH... Also, this is kind of tron. I mean, Ugin, Karn, Expedition Map, Wurmcoil, and of course the lands. Also, yes, I'm too lazy to link all these.

How about cutting Platinum Angel, it doesn't protect you very well, as your opponent just needs to destroy it and your dead.

And how about playing Scroll Rack?

Platinum angel is important for several infinite combos, otherwise things like infinite memory jar etc would end in a draw.

Scroll rack isnt very good in decks that play with an empty hand most of the time. It would shine in a Wastes version tho

New cards being spoiled for Shadows over Innistrad, and one caught my eye so far, "Tamiyo's Journal." Interesting ability, plus a tutor long game, would like to hear your thoughts when you see the card

Yeah I'm super excited for it. I had started playing magic when RTR just released, and I feel like I really missed out on the first Innistrad block, and felt I missed out on what probably would've been my favorite set/block. I love everything about the gothic flavor of Innistrad, so I am really looking forward to it!! For both the flavor and cards =)

Cool deck PepsiAddicted, I was wondering if you have seen the card Cursed Totem. It might work alongside your other stax artifacts and considering you only have 14 creatures. Winter Orb, Static Orb, and Orb of Dreams might work here too with the untap abilities. There is also Defense Grid which is a Grand Abolisher for colorless.

I play artifact stax and I wrote a primer on it with my Glissa, the Traitor EDH deck. I run a Salvaging Station and Krark-Clan Ironworks combo with Lotus Bloom, Sol Ring, Executioner's Capsule, etc. and maybe Krark-Clan Ironworks can be good for you as another sac outlet. Everything in your deck becoming a Sol Ring when it is hit by exile or mind controlled seems good :)

Artifact secret tech is really cool and is great sideboard material against decks that rely too much on a specific strategy. One card I think might be good is Library of Leng. It seems to be a Spellbook that is also great against discard control (Liliana of the Veil, Oppression, Bottomless Pit, Words of Waste, Death Cloud, etc.).

Forgot about that, luckily its an artifact so I can assume you can find some way to remove it when you want to use Karn.

If you guys like you can help with this combo Memnarch deck I am going to build. Except for a short period during Khans when i splashed blue for Treasure Cruise in modern I actually never played blue in any of my non-budget decks. Let me know what cards I'm missing. THX

You should consider Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger as removal and finisher in your deck

id like him as removal but what would you cut for him? he wont be much of a finisher in here tho

I have been liking Krark-Clan Ironworks in my Glissa, the Traitor Deck, it might work here too. I would go Blightsteel over the new Ulamog if you want a 1 shot finisher
