Other then the goyfs, assassins trophies, and 2 Lilianas I have this deck, as parts of other decks. So weird. I'm gonna put them together with 2 of that 4/4 trample delve ape guy and some terminate and see how it goes. I never knew what this deck actually was.

Watertower420 I hope you like it. Check out my budget build as well. It does pretty good and can be bought for the price of those goyfs if you don't already have the cards from recent standards.

I'm liking your currently line up. I feel like there should be 1 more push but I don't really see a slot for it.

But is Damping Sphere and Grafdigger's Cage really worth it when it hoses your own Bloodbraid Elf?
Unless Living End becomes tier 1 again then the "hoses cascade" argument for these cards seems like it would hurt yourself more than them. Aren't there better options like Fulminator Mage and Thorn of Amethyst for Damping Sphere and Surgical Extraction, Leyline of the Void, Tormod's Crypt etc. for the graveyard? It seems like the "non zero amount of times" that you would hurt yourself on the cascade with these sideboard cards would be detrimental if you're trying to consistently get through a long tournament.

Bloodbraid Elf casts from exile, which gets around Grafdigger's Cage. Damping Sphere is there for storm and tron.

I could have sworn the Cage hit it all these years. I must be suffering from some kind of Mandela Effect.

If I added a second Fatal Push I would probably cut a Lightning Bolt or Thoughtseize for it. I do think it could be necessary for early creature removal.

Nobody's talking about Vraska, Golgari Queen but could it be a good addition to jund ? at least in SB maybe in place of Chandra ? it cycles well your extralands, it's a recursive decay ... for me it fits the grindy atmosphere of the deck, what do you think ?

That's a good question Toak83!
So, I've thought of including Vraska, Golgari Queen when it was first spoiled. At first glance, it looks modern playable. It's a 4 cmc Planeswalker with a wicked ultimate. However, her +1 "Sacrifice another permanent..." doesn't jive with Jun. In most cases we'd be sacrificing a land, which is a no-no for Jund. As for her -3 (Abrupt decay without the counter-proof) we have cheaper ways of achieving this. Mostly Assassin's Trophy and Abrupt Decay. The only reason it would be worth playing her at all is that busted emblem. Which, also doesn't fit Jund's game plan. I could see this doing really well in a Lingering Souls / Grim Flayer deck.
.....
Abzan has the ability to capitalize on Vraska, Golgari Queen with better sac outlets through Lingering Souls or Clues from Tireless Tracker (That last one is a crazy synergy)
+2, sac a clue, gain 1 life, draw a card, pump Tracker. CRAZY!!!
So yeah, I don't see this making its way in Jund unless you're running 3-4 Tireless Tracker.

I think the Golgari queen would be better in a Junk deck because of Lingering Souls. Er, Abzan. The synergy with Tireless Tracker is notable though. You could use the clue tokens for the + in a pinch.

Yay thanks, I see your point here. Indeed maybe in a version of jund heavy on tireless tracker and lighter on bob can do the trick but in the end it's a meh.

4 trophies seems excessive since it slows you down while it speeds up the opponent and fixes their mana. Casdading into it with Bloodbraid Elf isn't always great either.

I was watching a series on MTGO where he was running 4 trophies. I had 3 trophies 2 push but I’m gonna see how 4 does.

Thanks for testing the deck for me itachi45!! That's awesome to hear. I will do some playtesting of my own against your deck. I recently cut the second Push for Abrade to better my chances against Hollow One and still have removal for Aggro. If Infect becomes more problematic/prevalent in my meta I could see going back to Push.
It's a pretty even-ish match-up. Depends on how much removal I draw into. Grim Lavamancer and Anger of the Gods come to mind for sideboard options. Bloodbraid Elf is pretty bad in this match-up so I would probably board 3 BBE for 2 Anger and Lavaman.

Nullhide Ferox is a card worth considering on the side, in the same slot Obstinate Baloth or Thrun, the Last Troll would fit. Kind of a split between the two cards, no lifegain and it can be countered, but also a 6/6 for 4 is pretty big and can kill a Gurmag Angler in combat.

Also just out of curiousity what was your consideration between Grafdigger's Cage and Nihil Spellbomb?

Thanks for the comment Spazik008
I was toying with Nullhide Ferox or even Carnage Tyrant but that just was a bit much. Thrun, the Last Troll is there for U/W Control match-ups. They typically have enough mana to pay and path Nullhide Ferox or just outright counter it. Plus the "I can't play 2/3 of my deck" doesn't seem good enough. I see where it could be good against discard decks but I think I'd prefer Obstinate Baloth there for the life gain. Nullhide Ferox just dies the turn after it comes in. I think it would be OK against Hollow One because they have very limited removal for it. They could also just chump it with Flamewake Phoenix though. That's what made me consider Carnage Tyrant but that doesn't have the discard-proof portion of Nullhide Ferox. It's an awkward slot because Thrun, the Last Troll doesn't do anything against Hollow one or discard (outside of regenerate at least).
As for Nihil Spellbomb v Grafdigger's Cage; I think it does better against dredge/KCI because it gets rid of the cards they can return to hand which Grafdigger's Cage doesn't. Grafdigger's Cage is best against Kitchen Finks and Vizier of Remedies decks, which aren't really a part of the meta right now. I guess it's good against Bant Spirits decks but I'll take my chances with Thoughtseize.

You like the idea of adding a Godless Shrine in the sideboard of a jund or sultai deck to dispose of 3 Lingering Souls in the side against the creature aggro decks like humans, zoo, or spirits??

TheSimikBOat says... #20
I do it in one of my decks (JUND+SULTAI=JUNTAI) and I would like to know your opinion.
PD: I'm new on the community and I'm a bit lost. Could you give me some advice to start?

Hey TheSimikBOat thanks for the suggestion. I’ve actually run a build of Lingering Jund with one Godless Shrine and 2 Lingering Souls MB over Thoughtseize if I remember correctly. Maybe Scavenging Ooze. It was OK. But I think against Spirits it could be a viable gameplan.

How has Ishkanah been in practice for you? It looks like it matchups up well against Arclight Phoenix though I'm curious how it has been?

Hey Oloro_Magic. Ishkanah, Grafwidow came up big against Arclight Phoenix . I’m liking it so far.

I honestly don’t face much burn right now at my LGS. If that changes though Tireless Tracker could come out for Courser of Kruphix. And the sb Thoughtseize would be cut for Life Goes On
