So this is a deck iv’e toyed around with for a while now, it’s got stronger with the addition of Defile and Changeling Outcast which came with modern horizons.

The strategy is pretty straight forward, we are looking to throw down early creatures like Bile Urchin , Tormented Soul and Changeling Outcast to start picking away at the opponent’s life total. From there we can play Skulking Ghost and Thief of Hope which are either going to ramp up the assault or force our opponent’s removal to be used. Devouring Greed is a super finisher which, with the right starting hand, can hit for 12-14 life on turn 4/5!

Our spell’s are mainly to help keep the opponent’s board empty, with playsets of Defile and Rend Flesh being the go to removal. Sign in Blood is there to help sift through the deck and Unearth can get us back anything we need from the graveyard but also helping if we need to cycle and sift through our library. The soulshift mechanic also works quite nicely in this deck as it can fetch anything back if Thief of Hope happens to die

Land base is simple 16 Swamp and 4 Barren Moor , Barren Moor just helps smooth out out deck by being able to be cycled away if needs be
