Hello everybody and welcome to the deck I played this past weekend at Pats Games in Austin, Texas. There was a decent turnout with 62 players (79 Cap limit) for the 1k event.

Match up stats.

Game 1 Vs Junk Pod Lost 1-2. Record 0-1.
Game 2 Vs U/R Delver Aggro Win 2-0. Record 1-1.
Game 3 Vs UWR Burn/Cruise Win 2-0. Record 2-1.
Game 4 Vs G/W Hexproof Boggles Win 2-0. Record 3-1.
Game 5 Vs U/R Delver Aggro Win 2-0. Record 4-1.
Game 6 Vs UWR Burn/Cruise Win 2-1. Record 5-1.

Game 6 ended the Swiss Round cut to Top 8 leaving me in 3rd seed entering the top matchups.

Game 1 Top 8 Vs G/W Hatebears Lost 1-2. Record 5-2 for the day.
Can't really complain since I lost my very first matchup of the day where it was looking a little bleak but ended up winning 5 straight games. I am really happy about that, but ended up not having a good matchup against Hatebears, Aether Vial is just to fast. Even Merfolk playtesting was a little bad for me as well. The deck just ends up out tempo-ing me in the early/mid game when it matters most since Jund can stabilize fairly well especially playing Treasure Cruise.

Thanks for coming to read about my deck and I hope to keep this thread updated and continued success while I keep playtesting this list. I might end up taking it to the Modern Masters 2 release GP in Las Vegas, Nevada next year if I can get more consistent with the deck.
