Since you're only using blue for Divination and Opt, I don't think it's worth it. I'd go in a green or red direction instead, more in line with more traditional Selesnya or Boros Angels decks. Green gives you access to ramp (Llanowar Elves) which can be very important and lets you activate Shalai, Voice of Plenty. Red has Aurelia, Exemplar of Justice and a lot of good removal, plus Banefire which is an excellent in the control matchup. Plus, both of those already have their shock lands (Temple Garden and Sacred Foundry), so the mana base is better. Here's a recent take on Boros Angels:

Hey thanks for the suggestions! I am thinking of splashing green knights right now.Knight of Autumn and Conclave Cavalier creature switch to stay with the tribal theme and obviously swap Glacial Fortress for Sunpetal Grove. I'll consider the red splash as well. How do you keep mid-rangy decks from running out of cards? I put in the blue because a lot of decks I play always run into this problem. Seems very common for white :/

Moving blue package to side board for now. Maybe this could be unexpected in best of 3 matches XD

I have no idea how to draw cards as white in Standard. Let me know if you figure it out ;)

That said, value is the way to go I guess. Ajani, Adversary of Tyrants can buff your squad and bring back dead 2 drops, Resplendent Angel creates tokens and History of Benalia is a 2 for 1. If you do add red, remember that while Deafening Clarion is primarily a board-sweeper, its ability to give all your creatures lifelink can be very relevant if you have a couple of Resplendent Angels in play and your opponent has no presence in the air.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm going to try a knights tribal deck for now and see how it goes. Still need to collect a few cards but I have the basics in place right now.

Conclave Tribunal might be better than Ixalan's Binding for you that way you can take advantage of the convoke mechanic

The convoke mechanic looks to me like its good to get a threat removed early on. Ixalan's Binding I find has a nice habit of locking down the opponent's decks (hooray card denial). Do you find Conclave Tribunal more competitively viable?

I feel like I should elaborate a bit. I don't want to use a mechanic just because of it's existence. What advantage have you found with Convoke in creature removal?

basically you can take advantage of it with your summoning sick creatures you can cast it cheaper than binding and cast other things in the turn too.

I would recommend not running Conclave Cavalier because you only have 8 green mana sources in your deck so getting two by turn 4 seems like it wont happen very often I would consider some cheap token generation cards to go with all of your lord affects from shalai and marshal. maybe try Legion's Landing  Flip Emmara, Soul of the Accord Saproling Migration Leonin Warleader Trostani Discordant. These work in more of a token deck though so you might want to add multiple cards like these.

Hey I was just thinking about this, I'm considering 4x Llanowar Elves to help out in this department :) I did drop 2x Plains and 2x Benalish Marshal for it but I think this would be ok. Thanks for the suggestion!

Actually, I was being an idiot before. To draw cards in white in Standard, check out Mentor of the Meek and Dawn of Hope depending on whether you'll be getting most small dudes or most life. You don't have a lot of lifegain as is, so if you want to go with the latter, maybe consider Legion's Landing  Flip or Fountain of Renewal.

Completely forgot about Mentor of the Meek, not a knight so I can see why I overlooked this but splashed in there for purely card draw looks amazing. I'm swapping out the Llanowar Elves for now and will see how this works out. I'm liking how this deck is coming together. Everyone's suggestions are amazing!

I think the tokens path will entirely change the deck. I'm liking the idea of keeping this a tribal knight deck for now. I could make another deck and post a link here later on to focus on token (from the looks of it soldiers) creation. Would probably switch to red white in that case as tokens are low stat and low cost, would probably want a burn twist to complement the strategy of swinging wide. That and obviously some type of buff cards for a finisher. Heroic Reinforcements comes to mind :)
