Yidris bringing the bois

This is a personal favorite deck of mine. Originally built to play Borborygmos Enraged and The Gitrog Monster to machine gun down opponents, it has slowly transformed into a Ad Nauseam // Treasure Hunt deck focused on utilizing the lands to win. Borborygmos Enraged and The Gitrog Monster are a phusdo infinite combo. For every land you discard you deal 3 damage, and for every land you discard Gitrog draws you one card. with 40 lands in hand/deck, you can kill a full table. Proteus Staff , Polymorph , Gamekeeper , and Oath of Druids serve as ways to find and slap them into play, well Lim-Dul's Vault is a powerhouse way to stack the deck, and allows for potentially stronger Treasure Hunts // Ad Nauseam where you can pick up the cards you need in the moment. Horn of Greed , Burgeoning , Mana Bond , andLotus Cobra are all acceleration and value pieces, well Tempt with Discovery and Collected Voyage often help us set up big mana plays, find colors, or leverage political aspects of the table. With that being said, the group hug ramp spells are in consideration for future cuts and tweaks. Yidris himself is often a value or set up piece, as the options of spells to cascade into is so limited that the potential outcome of and one cascade trigger can quickly be narrowed down to a few spells, making decision trees easier to assess for any given turn. Casting a 2 CMC spell, for example, means you have one of 3 potential spells to flip into, assuming they are all in deck at the time.
For backup win cons, we have Worm Harvest , Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle , Inkmoth Nexus + Kessig Wolf Run , Kessig Wolf Run + Lavaclaw Reaches , the age old Dark Depths + Thespian's Stage , and of course Commander Damage with Yidris and Kessig Wolf Run. the copy of Rouges Passage is here to help us with the singe creature combat game plan, although its a mana intensive set up. {lol, 76 lands and I'm calling a play "mana intensive"} Villainous Wealth for big mana can also lock in a win, but it can also disrupt a tutor or cash in on an opponents value engine. That being said, its a feel bad situation to cascade into, and its a card that might get cut in the future.

So now to divulge the biggest short coming of this crazy list: the removal package. Because our game plan is to dig deep and throw lands, we're limited on spaces to run a traditional removal package. Borborygmos Enraged can hit creatures, so thats a start. Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle can also hit creatures, so that brings the count to two. then we have Blighted Gorge which is... well, its bad removal being 5 mana, but when you sacrifice it with Gitrog on board it does replace itself, so that's neat. Blighted Fen is a sac effect for the same cost with the same drawbacks. The grandfather to both of those is of course Barbarian Ring, which even with Threshold being the set up required, is still far more reasonable. Blast Zone is a much better card, although it takes more setup and forethought to remove the target[s] you want or need to, but it can hit all permeant types, and multiple permeants.

Edit 12/6/2021 cut tempt with discovery for Scapeshift greed is good. Cut Fateful Showdown for Abundance Cut Villainous Wealth for Cultivator Colossus Horn of Greed cut for Abundant Harvest
