You're deck with the low mana curve looks really similar to mine. The only thing I'd suggest is adding Cavern of Souls though you do have less zombies, I'd be interested in how the deck plays with Caverns.

@ rotaercz1 : You are right, Cavern of Souls is awesome and could probably help the deck, but at 25$ each, I won't buy any.

Looking at the deck the card that this deck would like the most is Bloodthrone Vampire . The Synergy between Gravecrawler a sacrifice outlet and Blood Artist is very strong.

This is great! When I tested it, it was consistent to have potential of 10 damage when attacking on turn 3. +1

I have added 1 Blood Scrivener . I wonder if it's gonna help. I'll have to test it and see.

What's your thoughts on adding Desecration Demon ? I know he isn't a zombie, but with him out your opponent will have to choose weather or not to take 6 to the face, or loose a creature and loose 1 if you have a Blood Artist out. Just a suggestion U think you might like. Love your build by the way. It's very damn brutal. +1 from me!

Thank you KnightsBattlecry001 for your comment, I really appreciate it. : )
Desecration Demon is a great card, but in this deck, it would be a bad draw almost every time. Why ? Because, it would come at a time the opponent would be low in life and trying to take control of the game. At this point, I need to end the game, not try to control it. This deck is just plain bad at control and would lose every time it would attempt to do so.
But, outside of this deck, you have a point I did not thought before. Desecration Demon and Blood Artist are a nice combo and would be great in a more control oriented deck.

Your deck is really fun to use FNM! I went 4-1 with it.

Could you tell me what kind, the deck that won, was ?

This is a good source of Golgari inspiration for a new player like myself. Wasteland Viper in your maybe list is a card I had in my Death's Menace Golgari deck and really found it useful. It eventually got taken out just so I could fit other cards in that focused on building huge creatures with either trample or death touch so that blockers are irrelevant.

finally got to add it for you if you wanted to take a look

Ok, I'll check your deck.
Next time, use a link, it's easier. Just write the name of your deck between [ + [ and ] + ] and it will work like that: Drinkers of the Night.

I know that he is not a zombie but dryad militant is a fine one drop 2 power dude. The option for white is not relevant nor is the flashback hate but I run it in my golgari deck.

I find Evolving Wilds works surprisingly well with Deathrite Shaman as it mana fixes as well as chucking a land into your graveyard to get out an extra mana later, or negate the fact it comes in tapped.
That said, it's probably not worth it unless your running 4 deathrites.
July 14, 2013 11:54 p.m.
I used to play one Evolving Wilds , but as you said, I am not running 4 Deathrite Shaman . Plus, waiting one turn to cast a spell often resolved in a loss with this deck. Still, you are right, Evolving Wilds works very well with Deathrite Shaman !
Thanks for the comment : )

Nice Deck!!!! +1 =D
What you think about include 1x Immortal Servitude ? You have only low-cost creatures and can be frustrating to your opponent after survive (for some reason) against your Killing Wave ! It would be very funny at least!
DarkHero says... #1
i tried to make a deck based on yours just now but focusing more on the killing wave combo...but it ended up looking almost identical to this one besides like a one or 2 difference in amount of a card and I added Giant Growth . Cudos you pretty much hit this one right on.Sounds like there will be some Dragon Maze cards that will benefit this for sure.
