Vindicate best b/w removal spell.

HydraOoze, what would you swap it for?

Mabey Harsh Sustenance or Blood Reckoning as there both pretty slow.

Well, at this point I need to cut 2 cards. So I could cut those for Vindicate, and have the deck be right at 100 cards including Obzedat.

I don't know if you're still updating that deck, but I have a pillow fort Obzedat deck that is very good without going over-the-top unbeatable. Depending on your budget and such, email me at [email protected] if you want my deck list (it's probably one of my favorite decks with an enchantment sub-theme)

hdog, I am still looking at altering the list before I try to pick up the pieces of the deck I am missing. As with any of my decks, I take all suggestions into consideration. And I have found that my budget is not entirely static anymore, but it now varies from card to card based on whether I like the card or not.

I won't be completely building the deck until Origins drops, but I have at least 25% of this list without looking through all of my collection, buying, trading for what I don't have set aside already, or proxying the rest. I used to have a deck similar to this built, but I had almost 20 proxies because I was unable to pick up the cards before I decided to stop trying to finish the deck, part out the deck, and move on towards other decks.

Council's Judgment seems better than Mortify, because even though Morty is an Instant, Judgment has far more targets, and it gets around Hexproof and Indestructible. Strip Mine is very good in EDH, because it deals with things like Gaea's Cradle and Greedy Mana-Bases, and it can deal with troublesome Man-Lands as well. It can probably replace a Swamp. Lotus Blossom is really slow, and would probably be better as Chromatic Lantern, which lets your lands tap for any colour.

the new Archangel of Tithes could be good.

nayrash5, I appreciate the feedback. I forgot about Council's Judgement, so I may replace Mortify with Judgement. My usual play group hates land destruction, so I plan on holding back on Mine, GQ, etc. until they get over land destruction or I move to another play group. I agree in Blossom being slow, but I don't know how I feel about Lantern in anything less than a tri-colored deck. In the build I used to have, I didn't have any problem hitting certain colors, but I did have problems with hitting large amounts of mana for spells.

HydraOoze, I did notice her being released in Origins, but I haven't pulled her from pre-release and wouldn't know what to replace her for if I did pull one or bought one. Thoughts?

Yeah, you're probably right on that. The other deck I run Regent (my Thrax deck) has me feel underwhelmed most of the time because I don't want to wipe the board.

I was told to possibly take out Blood Baron of Vizkopa. What should I replace him with?

Hey man, remember that EDH/Commander is a "non-official" format, so the rules and balists don't come from Gatherer nor Wizards.

For Commander check this site and for Duel Commander this one.

Spoiler Alert!

Ineffable's Will is banned in both formats.

Non-official in what regards? FNM may be composed of by an EDH/Commander event, and Wizards is obviously capitalizing on the format with the Commander products.

Aside from that, if I wanted to make the deck fully legal by removing Yawgmoth's Bargain as per the first site, what would you suggest I replace it with, hfvalenz?

Necropotence can be played in regular Commander and has a Yawgmoth's Will-like effect with added nerfing.

It's also banned for Duel Commander though hehe.

I see your point on FNM and as I only play regular Commander in a LGS league I forgot that completely. Maybe you can use Wizards banlist, for Wizards events, but even though Wizards has official Commander products and all, the format was intended to be social or casual etc.

One last thing, as of Sept 29, 2015 Yawgmoth's Bargain is banned by Wizards as well! Check this.

Thanks for adding insult to injury with that last link... haha. XP

I guess Gatherer needs to get their stuff together as it, too, is a Wizards run site.

Now, it's just a massive hunt for a card to fill the spot and not degenerate back into some of the combos/insta-kills once thrown into this deck.
