Have you found Hero of Precinct One to be paying off? imo, the deck would work better w/ 4x History of Benalia and leaning more into plains in the manabase. I also played around with a lot of Healer's Hawk and the lifelink always felt great if I could successfully mentor it. That said, Rustwing Falcon ended up being my card of choice in this style deck because it doesn't die to Goblin Chainwhirler or Fanatical Firebrand + after being mentored it can attack into or block a Thief of Sanity or an early Hydroid Krasis without dying.

Struyk Samut, Tyrant Smasher and Krenko, Tin Street Kingpin are too slow for this deck. Gideon Blackblade however is a great card for a control matchup as he is a good threat and can remove problematic permanents.
Hero of Precinct One and Heroic Reinforcements allow you to get a turn four or five kill, where as Samut and Krenko do not.

Hero of Precinct One just gets rekt by a single shock and Heroic Reinforcements is pretty much a dead draw when behind on the board while Samut, Tyrant Smasher + Swiftblade Vindicator and the haste is pretty gg

How do you feel about Samut's Sprint instead of Integrity / Intervention ?

Struyk I mean, 90% of the creatures in the deck die to Shock , but the sequence that Hero and Reinforcements allow for make up for their downsides.
thatFigureS, The scry from Samut's Sprint is nice, but the ability to throw a Lightning Helix at your opponents makes Integrity / Intervention a better option.

I added in a couple of History of Benalia and Bond of Discipline . Bond is kind of expensive for this deck but it almost always results in a win if I can't win before turn 5 when it can be played.

a_specter When pieces of the deck rotate, absolutely. Evasive and creates a body on attacks, all that you want in a decent aggro card. Low power does hold it back a bit, but I think it has a home post rotation.

I dropped 4x Hero of the Nyxborn for 2x Luminous Broodmoth and 2x Bonecrusher Giant and it's going way better :)

I would add response//resurgence for the last minute attack step.

You should probably drop the temple of triumphs. In an aggro mirror they slow the deck down and force it to be too defensive, letting the opponent get ahead.

HopsTM None really jump out at me, but you could try Gird for Battle . Sadly that card pails in comparison to Ajani, as his -2 is what really helps the deck. The continued pressure he gives just help you keep pressure on and bring back the game.
sonicshadow1296 I would say that this deck shares the same short comings as any aggro deck. If too many of your early threats get removed or countered you begin to stall out and can just flounder about trying to get your feet back. The worse case was against a Rakdos aggro deck when they killed every one of my threats and there was nothing I could do. His hand was literally; land, land, shock, shock, shock, lightning strike, judith. ripped a third land, then just started casting creatures. That was a real disheartening game.
