Sideboard

Artifact (1)

Instant (4)

Sorcery (3)

Lots of enchantments to trigger constellation for card draw and -1/-1 affects. Temur Sabertooth lets you bounce your enchantments to cast them again for more value, or if you have Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx and lots of devotion, you can bounce your field in face of a board wipe and start reloading next turn. The sideboard has got stuff to fend off each of the deck archetypes running around now. It is mainly focused to side in against burn, control, or midrange. The weakest match I foresee is against an aggro deck, but if the draws are right, our deck should have no problem into ramping into a Doomwake Giant to keep there board clear.

The deck did very well at FNM, was able to split for top 2.

First match was against a Mardu warriors deck. Game one seemed bleak in early turns but then I was able to stabilize the board and overwhelm my opponent. Game 2 my deck ramped nearly perfectly and I took the game quickly.

Second match was against a new player that had a R/G deck that was just thrown together so, so it was a gimme that I didn't even sideboard on game 2.

Third match was against r/w tokens. Game 1 I was able to keep him down with Doomwake Giant triggers. Game 2 I brought in Virulent Plague which shut him down since he was unable to draw any of his Erase.

Fourth match was against G/W Manifest. I was able to eventually able to take game 1 on turn 4 of turns with exact damage. My opponent was only able to find two of his Mastery of the Unseen. The first one I was able to get rid of quickly with Banishing Light. The second one stuck, but I was able to keep a stable board with Pharika, God of Affliction and a single Doomwake Giant. Once we hit turns, I was able to get a second Doomwake Giant on the board to keep the path clear for tw turns of unblocked damage. We both made play mistakes in the game; he missed a life gain trigger which would of allowed him get a draw and also forgot he had a Deathmist Raptor in his graveyard at one point. I also missed Courser of Kruphix lifegains, and also was taking unnecessary damage from pain lands when I had an Uraborg in play. The game could have easily gone a different way.

Match 5 my opponent and I split, but we played one game for fun. He was out of the gate quickly with his Mardu tokens, and was able 2 kill Doomwake Giants with burn spells. The turning point was a Chord of Calling to find Doomwake during combat on my opponents turn. He was unable to come back from that.

Overall, the deck ran very smoothly. Hard to say if I would have been able to recover if any of my opponents had been able to resolve a spell like Back to Nature. Elspeth, Sun's Champion never felt like it did much for the deck, I replaced it with a Dictate of Heliod. The superstar of the deck was easily Sidisi, Undead Vizier. I was able to tutor for Doomwake Giants in multiple games to stabilize for the win. I think what I would like to had is two Collected Company, but unsure what to take out.
