Sideboard


A gathering of the finest walkers from WAR (well, some good ones.) This is very much a control deck, and lacks a variety of win conditions. Really, it's a matter of incidental life drain, or relying on Gideon to get the job done. There are plenty of creatures in the sideboard, but game one is all systems control. Keeping up defense is easy, and dealing with problematic permanents is equally swift, but finding the best route to winning is the challenge of this deck. I do realize how dumb that sounds, but not losing is the first step to grinding out wins. I doubt this deck appeals to the spike players of the world, but with all the interactions and activations, the games are legitimately fun.
