I was primarily just looking to find a way to fit Dack Fayden in a deck... and Melek seems like a very fun commander. Infinite combos seem kind of unavoidable with an Izzet deck, so there are a few

Palinchron + High Tide/Phantasmal Image = Infinite mana/storm count

Reiterate + Reset + Lightning Bolt = Infinite damage (tutorable with Firemind's Foresight)
