So this is a deck that I'm working and am trying to make ready for local modern competitions. The basic idea is to control the opponent in early game (mostly through hand control with some creature removal) so as to keep them weak until I bring out my stronger vampires late game. I put in a lot of life gain so as to remove any blunders that might get through before I bring out my heavy hitters, but I made sure to keep these life gain cards offensive (lifelink vampires, tendrils of corruption, corruption, etc)-1 anowon-1 stab wound-3 sorin's thirst-2 call to the netherworld+3 waste not+2 Bloodchief ascension+2 Guul Draz Assasin;; -2 bloodchief ascension +2 blackmail -1 cry of contrition and +1 guul draz assassin-1bloodline keeper +1 drana, kalastria bloodchief-3 waste not +3 read the bones-1 tribute to hunger +1 sign in blood -3 read the bones +3 sign in blood-1 liliana of the darkrealms, -1 swamp, +2 recover-2x sign in blood +2x liliana of the dark realms -2x corrupt +1 cremate-2x black mail +2x victim of night
