Brimaz's Pride is a deck I have been working on for many years. It was the first EDH deck that I made and originally had Darien, King of Kjeldor as a commander until Odric, then finally Brimaz's, King of Oreskos.

The deck has a good amount of board control which helps keep momentum in your favor as you play a lot of soldier token producing cards and a couple big hitters from the creature pool. Whenever things are looking grim you can pull out one of the decks many field wipes and quickly start playing creatures again.

Equipments play a huge role in the deck as they give your creatures a good edge in combat. The deck runs all 5 protection swords as well as other powerful equipments like Batterskull and Umezawa's Jitte. The deck also has ways to search up those equipments using cards like Steelshaper's Gift, Stonehewer Giant, and Stoneforge Mystic.

Card draw is one of white's biggest hurdles to overcome, so in the deck I have included a few great card draw sources: Mentor of the Meek, Mind's eye, and Skullclamp. With many creatures entering the battlefield with only 1 or 2 power and toughness, those card draw sources really shine.

While the deck only runs 36 lands, I have felt that most of the time this is not a problem. With cards like Weathered Wayfarer and pearl medallion.
