Just for fun. A Modern Zombie aggro deck with control elements. Lots of cheap creatures that are on-curve or ahead of it, and a few ways to take advantage of +1/+1 counters.

The original concept of this deck had a lot of graveyard recursion and counter manipulation, e.g. Retribution of the Ancients and Carrion Feeder synergizing with undying. After playtesting it, I found it wanted to be an aggro deck more and more, with just a little cheap control to interfere with the opponent's plans. Zombies will never race Zoo, let alone better decks, but it can achieve a turn 4 win fairly often with Thoughtseize or Spell Snare for backup.

I mocked up this deck about 10 years ago purely for fun, but looking at it right now and the many cards in the intervening years that would go well in it, I think I might actually want to build and play it...
