5-color Niv-Mizzet control! This deck plays a lot of targeted and mass removal, splashy spells and copy effects, with the plan of out-valuing and grinding out opponents. Niv-Mizzet's ETB-ability is insane, and keeps the good cards coming.

Besides featuring multicolor cards, spells are a main theme of the deck. There is a high density of board wipes and removal. Cards like identity crisis can take graveyard-based decks out of contention, while debt to the deathless---set up with a mana doubling or copy effect---can threaten the whole board. The Ral, Storm Conduit infinite spell-copy combo is also in there as a potential win-con.

Niv-Mizzet has access to a huge card pool---it feels like a deck that can always be upgraded with new cards acquired from drafting (or cards cut from other commander decks). See the maybeboard for upgrade ideas.
