This is my first deck for Commander / EDH. The idea behind it is to control the game by stacking lifegain conditions for the owner of the deck or lifeloss conditions for the opponents, making them decide whether or not perform certain actions depending on how much will those actions affect to the game's life totals.

The commander, Kambal, Consul of Allocation can cause lots of frustration amongst the players, especially those ones who built their deck around non-creature spells. However, its low mana cost will allow it to come back to the battlefield easily as many times as needed.

There are many different combos available without the need of depending on specific cards. Most of the combos are based on gaining life through triggered abilities and dealing that much damage through enchantments.

Creatures are not very powerful in general, but that's not a big problem, since they are not supposed to attack directly. However, there are a couple ways of creating Angel tokens like Angelic Accord and a few specific creatures are indeed quite powerful.

Felidar Sovereign and Test of Endurance both serve a win-con purpose based on your own life total, which is incredibly easy to achieve with this deck. Once you play one of these two spells, it only takes until your next turn to trigger its effect. One of the spells is a creature and the other one an enchantment, making it possible to endure opponent's reaction more easily.

Defending from attacks may be difficult in some cases, since you probably don't want to sacrifice any of the creatures you'll have in the battlefield to block the attackers. This deck counts with some damage prevention and creature destruction instant spells that come in different flavors, like Hallow or Settle the Wreckage. It also includes auras for preventing a creature from attacking like Cage of Hands, enchantments to prevent creatures from attacking in general like Ghostly Prison or lifegain conditions that will make your opponents think about it twice before attacking with spells like Righteous Cause.

Finally, I just wanted to make sure that this deck is based mostly on cheap cards, being its total price more or less the same as a standard precon deck.
