Poly refers to Polymorph AND Trasmogrifry in 99% of this description.

I aimed for cheap token generators for 2 reasons. Having a turn 4 polymorph is fun AND douchey, also for the ability to play one followed immediately by a poly.

Hard Evidence This is my new favorite. I was hesitant on it at first but since the change to more control and thus playing more on my opponents phases, this has really shined. An ideal first few turns would be:

T1: Hard Evidence T2: Hold mana for counterspells/burns. If they play nothing, crack a clue. If they play something you find threatening, kill it with what have you. T3: Teferi T4: Polymorph/Transmogrify

The clue is great because if you play defensive and they end your turn, the unspent mana is up for grabs. The crab is great because it blocks early attackers.

card:Dragon F

This card is nice because it creates 2 tokens on the second turn. It makes the opposing removal cards not as bothersome.

Martial Coup

I love this card for its awkward flexibility. If you have no token generators and enough removal cards in your hand, you can cast it for 1WW and get yourself that Pre-Turn 4 token. I generally hold onto it unless I have a Poly card and am not afraid of them removing my tokens. Board wipe + token generator is always fun as well, so late game it hits pretty hard.

Polymorph Transmogrify

So both of these are equally effective, one destroys while the other exiles, though. It is nice having 6-8 in your deck, and having 2 different versions in case you get Exterminated or what have you. The inherent weakness of this style of deck and these cards are that the tokens are extremely vulnerable to being killed before the card procs on the stack. A token IS required for this to work.

Most of the time you are playing it, you will be gambling on either a fast poly and/or a mid game Poly while holding a counterspell/negate ready for any removal cards. It really just depends on the opponent and how well you know their deck.

NegateCounterspell I like these because they are cheap. I mostly want to counter early or in combination with the poly cards. I am going back and forth on these but I always tend to like these the most.

Lightning Bolt Just having this in the deck is nice, maybe im just stuck on it but It never really fails me. This is for that early stall and creature removal.

Path to Exile I think this one is more controversial now than it used to be, I like having the option of removing indestructibles. Maybe I'm, Local meta biased. I also will, on tesperate occasion, use it on one of my own tokens if I need a specific color and have extra tokens. Popping your extra token on your opponents end step lets you have an extra land that can get you a T3 Poly or just the extra you need to have that counterspell accompany your poly T5.

Martial Coup This card wipes the board and then makes tokens late game. It also created tokens early game if needed. All around great card from my experience.

Quarantine Field This one helps me get rid of enchanments, artifacts, planeswalkers anything that is strictly bothering me. at you get to remove 1 card, which is PRICEY but it's flexible. Might find something different, but it has done me justice for now.

Emrakul, the Aeons Torn Biggest dude out there when i made this deck. Can't really see anything more dangerous but that could easily change.

Teferi, Time Raveler

His passive ability is key. They cant burn or counter your poly cards. +1: This is also nice to poly during the enemies turn once they have spent all your mana.

-3: More ways to control your opponent and stall them. I have 4 in here because I typically tend to bait them as a distraction I have another in hand.

Now, I haven't really been playing much over the last 10 years, so hopefully im not ignoring some really solid cards out there. I also have never truly invested in the expensive Lands as I should have, but that's about to change once i have figured it out. SO if you have any recommendations for the Land I would love to hear it.
