So, what's the ideal opening hand for this deck?

Does Omenspeaker serve much purpose other than scry? If not i think i would take her out especially with the BR temple coming out in Born of the Gods

Dying Wish with Desecration Demon can be punishing. As almost any option to kill him becomes a near death sentence. Also even if they sac to tap him you can just kill him yourself to drop damage onto your opponent. Even then you can enchant just an AEtherling and if they want to kill it pump him up to a 10/1 and let them take the damage.

Omenspeaker is an early blocker that blocks things like solider of the pantheon or rakdos cackler, plus the added scry ability is a bonus

Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver is a hose against aggro. You get free dudes. In the control matchup he's a best too because he can be an alternate win con to mill them out.

I like that idea actually, it fits the theme of the deck as well.
