I really like this deck. I have a Daretti deck and, while I won't copy this deck completely, I definitely see some things that I need to get for mine. I just love being able to do red things in non-red ways. Out of curiosity, why no Lodestone Golem or Semblance Anvil?

Thanks for the comment battlesong72!

It's always okay to some inspiration from other decks in, fact the first major changes I made was inspired by v1 of Daretti, Superfly Goblin Pimp! The reason I don't use Lodestone Golem is because I forgot about him when making this, plus he also makes most of my win cons cost more as well....but I'll think about it. I've never heard of Semblance Anvil before, it seems interesting, I definitely want to try out. Maybe I could play it over Everflowing Chalice?

I prefer Semblance Anvil to Everflowing Chalice for Daretti since the Chalice has no effect when returned with Daretti's ability; with the anvil you can choose to use the imprint again

Two things, Daretti's plus ability is card filtering not card draw. There is no greater number of cards gained in hand, rather a greater selection of cards available. Second, if you really want to be competitive I suggest you look at stax versions of Daretti like:

I'm just gonna say that Possibility Storm is always fun in commander. Especially when you're playing Mycosynth Lattice. Also, Mycosynth Lattice has awesome synergy with Aggressive Mining and Daretti's ult.

@mistrsinistr: Possibility Storm does not interact with Mycosynth Lattice. The Lattice does not affect a card's type on the stack.

I'm not saying it does, I'm actually saying it's a good way to get extra land plays or upgrade the artifacts you're casting. Sorry I didn't clarify that.

Thanks for the comments NateJH and mistrsinistr!

@NateJH I've changed the description to fix that statement about Daretti, along with better specifying the type of deck I want this to be. Quite frankly, those decks you linked looked so unfun to play that I moved this deck hub from competitive to casual even though the feel I'm going for is "casually-competitve." If ever want to sit down at EDH tourney at a GP (see:never), I'll definitely make some of those changes.

@mistrsinistr If I was playing Crucible of Worlds I might consider Aggressive Mining, but since I don't it just not worth a card slot for a card that will only be good in one specific situation.I would try Possibility Storm ,but I don't like potentially helping my opponents on their turn and there are a couple of mono-blue decks running around so that could backfire spectacularly.

Possibility Storm can be obnoxious for mono-blue though. Counterspells become nearly useless. Omniscience doesn't though, so... yeah.

But with synergies like Hoard-Smelter Dragon + Mycosynth Lattice , or just a Vandalblast while Mycosynth Lattice is out could handle Omniscience pretty easily. It's pretty easy to get rid of things with decks like this, plus, the other thing you have to consider is that Possibility Storm with Mycosynth Lattice can turn that Omniscience into an Island, and the only risk is turning a small creature, artifact, or enchantment into an Omniscience.

Pretty sure it doesn't work that way. Any enchantment card will still be an enchantment on the stack. So a blue player could start casting stuff like Propaganda and Rhystic Study in an attempt to hit something like Omniscience.

The Lattice/Vandalblast interaction is very powerful though. I've done it many times and it's backbreaking for opponents. There's a lot of really cool stuff you can with the Lattice on the board. Dross Scorpion and Kuldotha Forgemaster means you can start sacrificing mountains and such to pull out all your combo pieces whenever you want and end the game. Nevinyrral's Disk with Darksteel Forge and Unwinding Clock hard locks the board.

Have you considered Sculpting Steel for the deck? It does require something on the field first, but it can help ramp up quite a bit, or cause shenanigans with Feldon or Mycosynth lattice.

As for what to remove for Chaos Warp, I'd remove Ichor Wellspring. It just doesn't do enough to justify its spot.

I like this deck. It was what I had started to mold mine into but then took a hard left turn to tribal.
I think you should find a spot for Palladium Myr I think it a great mana dork for all of your big golems.

If you would like to look at my tribal deck it could still use some help. Fraking Toaster's - MYR Tribal

Thanks and good luck in your build.
