Something to consider would be Alesha, Who Smiles at Death...

Ok so my deck is very similar to yours and Bile Blight is our worst enemy...I went 2-2 but that was pretty much due to bad draws. I kind of like the idea of 3 Searing Blood for our Humble Defector. Deflecting Palm worked wonders. I am considering putting in some Gods Willing to counteract the Bile Blight and kill spells. Something I will be considering is dropping black altogether and replacing it with blue. I feel like having counters may benefit this deck more than kill spells. Yes it'll lose Butcher of the Horde but may end up being stronger.

It looses Butcher of the Horde, but gains Mantis Rider.

Deck functioned Sub-par @ FNM Friday not, not impressed, not sure if it was just bad draws, or my playing it that was the problem but went 1-3. Not acceptable.
Thinking of dropping the Black to go straight Boros. Thoughts?

What happened? What'd you play against? Can you list the games?
Anyway R/w is still very viable and a R/w Aggro/Burn list went 2nd at a SCG Standard Open with FRF. Take a look at those decks if you decide to make a switch.

0/2 - U/B Control1/2 - R/G Monsters2/0 5 Color Chromanticore0/2 Boros Aggro
Just could not get set-up all night, seems everytime I had something, my opponent had an instant answer. Just was not my night, but I feel that if I go to a Boros Aggro Shell while still maintaining the burn/combo aspect of the build I can function better.

Well, dropping black wont really change much in the main... you'll be losing butcher and doom. Pretty much just making room for some other cards...
The problem with burn is that you dont have a lot of cards that can deal with big threats. Maybe try out Fated Conflagration since it wreaks evety 'walker out there (except Ugin, the Spirit Dragon unless he minus 2ed which is highly likely) as well as all the fatties (rhino included)... also the scry is nice if you use it on your turn.

I would also suggest a comment sweep since its getting exhausting to scroll through all these on the phone ;)

Agreed. Fated Conflagration has worked wonders in my Jeskai Burn deck.
February 2, 2015 12:54 p.m.
I really like Fated Conflagration That will be an addition for sure. Butcher of the Horde can be easily replaced with Stormbreath Dragon, and maybe make room for Monastery Mentor in a Boros shell?
I will clean up the comments right away with the next update :P

Yeah a 3-of Mentor will still work like a charm. He's fantastic just greatly impossible to beat when left alone. I really suggest Valorous Stance. Great way to protect Mentor and key players.

Monastery Mentor should definitely have a place if your going to go Boros. I'd suggest run 4 and make him your main win piece, since you will be triggering prowess out every turn, and with the Seeker of the Way and Monastery Swiftspear in the combo, he will do in just about anything. :)

Collateral Damage is a efficient standard-bolt that can sac a monk and with Mentor you can replace a monk.

Thanks Guys!
I will work on it over the next day or so
Stay tuned!

Also Eidolon of the Great Revel would be a great addition. The damage you take is meaningless with all the lifelink, and it hurts control decks... alot :)

Wow this deck has come a long way since you posted it xGhostx . I think it's close to it's final form. How do you feel about another Crackling Doom and Hordeling Outburst ?
February 3, 2015 4:10 a.m.
Made substantial changes to the build.
Dropped Black entirely, Now running a Boros Burn Shell.
Thoughts?
Also reset comments with the update for a fresh discussion slate for changes :)

With the change in gears..... Jeskai Tokens now an option? Jeskai Ascendancy, Dig Through Time and maybe Keranos, God of Storms viable?

I feel like you'll be disappointed with Purphoros, God of the Forge. A bit too slow
February 4, 2015 12:46 p.m.
Tarzanovic says... #22
I wouldnt say slow just not dnough token generation... speaking of which, I wouldnt go Jekai token. You'll end up sacrificing too much of your burn for it, and burn seems the main theme here... Im saying I personaly wouldnt run it, not that it wouldnt be a good idea :)
February 4, 2015 12:50 p.m.
I hear you guys, I dont think Purphy is there as a wincon really, just as an alternate form of burn come the late game if required.
I am toying with Hordeling Outburst as well, but think that is just getting too conditional.
I think Purphoros, God of the Forge could work here, due to Monastery Mentor creating tokens as well as the large number of low cost creatures. again, just testing this concept.
February 4, 2015 1:29 p.m.
Jankyness begins when I have Satyr Firedancer in play and start bouncing creature/token drops off Purphy, 2 to the face, then 2 to a creature. Seems like legit form of board control.

But you wouldnt... Firedancer reads ''Whenever an instant or sorcery spell...''... sorry mate :/
