My Rhys token deck:

First foray into 'high-powered' EDH

This deck has been around for years and I've always enjoyed playing it - as a nice lil casual deck. I could never agree with my playgroup why this deck is a "must-answer" type of deck. Sure, it could fire off early and win in a few turns, but to me it seemed too inconsistent and too vulnerable to sweepers, etc. Lately, with Allosaurus Shepherd and Elvish Warmaster, etc; the deck has started to steer more towards Elves tribal supporting the token theme and being lower to the ground and faster, so ramp in the one-mana dorks made sense.

Also, 'high-powered'-decks have become more of a thing in various playgroups I play with. Even though some of my decks are tuned well, none of them are really high-powered, since my main playgroup tends to shy away from the more unfun cards and infinite combos. So, I've started to experiment with my Rhys deck to make it 'high-powered' (my cEDH decks are a different thing altogether).

I still don't really care for infinite combos outside of cEDH, so this seems like the prime candidate for over-the-top tuning to end up with a fast aggro build in order to race other 'high-powered' yet non-cEDH combo decks.
