@StopShot Yep, that's pretty much the reasoning I've gone with in designing this list. Great explanation.

How have you liked Contamination in here? I run it in Glissa, the Traitor because it makes a ton of sense there, and it doesn't shut off Alesha so I can definitely see it being solid.
Is Shred Memory more of a meta response or are you using it to tutor something out most of the time?
Is Splinter Twin nice since you can just play it from hand, or do you not tend to see it come up too often? Without any way to get it back if it hits the graveyard, I'd be worried that it can be a dead card a lot of the time.
Thalia, Heretic Cathar also seems like it's a neat piece in here. Do you not tend to play Alesha until you're close to comboing off? I feel like it would be tricky to choose which to play on curve.

@Last_Laugh I used to run Reconnaissance, but it doesn't do much in this build. This is a combo list, Alesha is just a backup plan. I can't really afford to run a card that does nothing unless I'm already winning.

I've been playing Alesha for a while. If you feel any of your combos are getting too slow or clunky I'd recommend possibly replacing that specific combo with Wayward Servant + Gravecrawler + Phyrexian Altar. It's incredibly easy to assemble, yet you don't see it in a lot of decks because it's so under the radar to many players.
Also I'm curious. What's your local meta like? What commanders and archetypes does your deck compete against normally? I'm trying to gain a better perspective on how other players run this commander and how they might tackle certain problems differently than how I would.

@StopShot That's a pretty nifty combo! None of the cards really do anything outside of the combo, but I like it. I will put it in the maybeboard for now, and keep it in mind.
I haven't had a chance to play in a while because I moved recently, but the meta I built this for was basically Purphoros aggro/combo, Sisay Paradox Engine, a Atraxa superfriends/combo deck, and an assortment of Blue-based control/combo decks along with the odd stompy list. It was pretty diverse, with a mix of casual and semi-competitive decks like this one. I found that the taxes plan worked pretty well against everything but the stompy decks, in which case it was best to go for a combo.

Ah, I get you. Yeah, stompy would flatten me pretty hard too. The best cards I'd always run to counter those strategies would be Ensnaring Bridge and Divine Presence which neuters those strategies pretty hard and have saved me in quite a number of games. (And Portcullis as a personal favorite, but that card can be a little too overboard at times.)

@Jordanyano, Actually they took out 1 combo so now there is only 4 primary combos.
In my opinion a number of combos boil down to preference, though it should be noted most decks that run only 1 combo in the whole deck primarily are blue or the commander itself is a combo piece. Lacking draw power to consistently get the same combo all the time can be to some degree difficult. Also non-blue decks lack counter spells, which is why most blue decks only run 1 combo because they can hold up 3 counter spells if an opponent tries to stop them. If the combo piece is the commander then you have the luxury of not losing steam no matter how long the game grinds on. Having neither of those means if a combo is foiled that can practically be a death sentence for a deck.
The other thing to note about Alesha decks is they're heavily graveyard-centered. While Naturalize affects destroy most anti-graveyard cards, if a combo-piece gets exiled you practically lose that combo and most graveyard-hate cards can't be responded to before they've done the exiling. This is another reason why multiple combos tend to be a necessity for decks like these otherwise they have no other option than to concede if their only out is damaged beyond repair.
