Dimir control centered around casting spells. Aetherflux reservoir and rise from the tides are win conditions (rise from the tides not quite). Trail of evidence gives a clue each time you cast an instant or sorcery, which helps battle at the bridge and the -2 effect of Tezzeret, the schemer to control the board, along with die young. Most everything else is present for extra control and consistency, with the exception of ornithopter, which is there for both field presence early on and/or easy life gain with aetherflux reservoir.
