Daxos came back in black (they obviously didn't give him a Proper Burial), to celebrate, I'm playing wipe control, so that I can Crackdown on my opponents.

Anytime Daxos is around, you know it's gonna be an Enchanted Evening.

First off, to counteract the deck being a bit slower, I have included many wrath effects. Note: damage to own face is minimal when every day is a Day of Judgment.

The next step is protecting Daxos from the Wrath of God, we don't want an Agent of Erebos catching up with him! If he has the Gift of Immortality or is even Shielded by Faith, he is better off, and doesn't have to be recast constantly.

Obviously, what is control if it doesn't remove or detain heavy threats from smashing the board while you dig for Mass Calcify ? The Oppressive Rays shining from auras like Pacifism and Cage of Hands combined with the creeping sickness from Blightcaster and Doomwake Giant assure that smaller threats are eliminated, while larger threats are slowed or stopped in their tracks. All of these are necessary for a preparation of a Deadly Tempest.

To ensure that card advantage is kept, maintain Underworld Connections, contact the nearest Phyrexian Arena, or consult Ob Nixilis Reignited. Keep in mind, since a drop of humanity is worth a sea of power, make sure you stock up on life with an Underworld Coinsmith or get Authority of the Consuls.
