Sideboard

Artifacts are fun, but I tend to dislike aggressive, combo-oriented decks, and so the Affinity lists which dominate the artifact-archetype usually drive me away. As a result, I decided to try and build an artifact deck which doesn't use Affinity and doesn't leave me asking why I'm not just playing Affinity instead, and ended up with this: a tempo-focused esper deck using a bunch of powerful artifact creatures to keep the opponent constantly on the back foot.

Being Esper allows for use of Esper Stormblade , Windwright Mage , Agony Warp , Glassdust Hulk , and Edge of the Divinity, all of which are cards capable of generating lots of advantage.

Of course, artifact creatures are doubly vulnerable to removal, so the sideboard contains cards like Hindering Light and Ethersworn Shieldmage to help cover that weakness.
