swap the Jace's Ingenuity and the Dig Through Time for 4 Thoughtseize

I'm not sure that I want to cut almost all my draw for Thoughtseize but I do think that it deserves a place in the deck regardless of how many I play and what I cut, thanks for the suggestion!

i really recommend making space for a least three perhaps cut a dig through time a Prognostic Sphinx and a end hostilities

I could definately see Cranial Archive has a one or two of in the board for the reanimator decks floating around, do you have any recommendations on what to cut MAsHPoTT?

I would really suggest some finishers who don't die easily like Resolute Archangel such as Prognostic Sphinx or Pearl Lake Ancient . Prognostic Sphinx can also block a Stormbreath Dragon , which Resolute Archangel cannot do. I'm not meaning to put down Resolute Archangel so much as ask for a greater range of finishers.

Without Sphinx's Revelation , control really doesn't need 27 land. I'd drop one land for a 4th Dig Through Time .

I'd think about playing Perilous Vault too.

I agree that I can probably go down to 26 for the 4th dig.

Well, I lied, I have realized that Divination is terrible because I can never actually cast it on turn 3 and that even if I can't reliably cast Bile Blight on turn 2, it is so good vs jeskai that it is very strong main deck.

28 land it too many. I'd cut 2, add a 4th Dig Through Time , and I'd try to fit a couple Last Breath in the board somewhere.

oops I had one more land in my list here than in my actual list (I've been testing with three Caves of Koilos all this time.) That's why I said I was thinking about cutting the one Island for the Dig Through Time

Island for Dig Through Time is a good swap.

you dont need 27 lands with Rev out of rotation. Take out a land for another dig through time. You also only need 1 Resolute Archangel , take the one out of side and add in a Pearl Lake Ancient or another elspeth if you really wanted to. And why Despise instead of Thoughtseize ? I'd run both. 2 of despise and 4 of thoughtseize.

I'm pretty confident that I want the 2nd Resolute Archangel in the side to really help me reset against aggressive decks thanks though! I agree on the land for dig swap, almost certaintly gonna happen. The reason I'm running Despise over Thoughtseize is that I want to forgo running Nyx-Fleece Ram main deck. As such I am trying to reduce my self inflicted pain. In addition, although Thoughtseize does hit a few more things, the great majority of what I care about gets hit by Despise and I am very confident in my matchup vs. Jeskai Ascendancy , especially post board.

Only change i would suggest is a Brimaz, King of Oreskos or two in the side for aggro and tempo builds. Either way looks good to me, glad to know im not alone in venturing into the Esper shard for KTK standard!
